One Tough Texan (Cattlemen Crime Club Book 3)

Gave five stars---great story by Barb Han!! Love this series. highly recommended to everyone. Looking forward to more in 2017!!!!!

The plot was well done and the love was evident. The author captures your imagination and runs with it happily to the end.

Just ok!

The underlining story through the series is about the O'Brien brothers trying to figure out who killed their parents. Joshua is trying to decide what to do with his life. He's on leave from his job as a cop as he helps his brothers with the ranch after his parents passed away. He runs across a woman in trouble and is compelled to help her. Tommy is the local sheriff and like a brother to the O'Briens.Alice has developed a relationship with a young girl named Izabel. She feels responsible for the girl’s parents dying as a result of the mistake she made on her job. She is a cop who is walking the line as she is desperate to find Isabel. The book opens with her trying to find Isabel who has been abducted and she thinks it's by someone who deals in human trafficking. This was a very good mystery. I was disappointed we didn't find out more about the parents’ murder. Alice's twin boys were adorable and it was ironic that Joshua happens to be a twin too. Great chemistry between the characters and high suspense as you wonder what happened to Izabel.I received this book from the publisher. I really love Barb Han and the mystery that rebuilds throughout her books. This one is no exception. The intensity builds along with their sizzling attraction and you can't put it down.Alice is a cop who has stepped away from her job and gone rogue, searching for a teen girl who she feels is her responsibility. And none other than Perez has taken her. The coolest man in the country. Drugs, girls he deals in them all. And the younger the better. Now times against her to find Isobel.Joshua O'Brien is back at the family ranch after his parents death. What he doesn't know how to do is tell his family deodorant want to be there. FBI is what he wants but a random act of kindness throws him for a loop.Joshua and Alice never expected to be in the situation they are in but must work together to bring Isobel back and Perez down. Can they build enough trust to work well together or will secrets be the downfall? Can they fight the attraction or will they give into it?Love this series and can't wait for more!

I have enjoyed reading another book in this series of the Cattleman Crime Club. I can't wait for the next book to come out so I can read it to. I would recommend it to anyone who has been reading this series.
