EZARC Flap Discs 80 Grit, 4 1/2 x 7/8-Inch Flap Sanding Disc, Type 29 Zirconia Grinding Wheel for Stainless Steel, Sheet Metal (10 Pack)

Not the depth or thickness as pictured. Better than Harbor Freight tho. Not as thick as home depot diablo or the Flat Iron brand that I usually purchase at my steel supply store but those are $4.50 each and these were about 1.25 ea. The disc measure about 3/16" thick covering about 4 flaps. The image clearly shows about 5-6 flaps. Oah well, just like at any fast food joint, the bottom of the image should read "enlarged to show texture" Not worth returning so we will burn through these and try a different brand next time

They are fine and a good value, but the disk surface is smaller so they wear out faster. Not saying this is a deal killer, but they are not as wide as more expensive disk. Good luck!

Bought per reviews; and unfortunately like many comments, these disks fail to underwhelming performance and wore out first disc in 4/5 minutes. Couldn’t believe how fast they dissolved. Will not be purchasing this brand again.

Fits my Dewalt grinder and I sharpened 6 mower blades with a disc and it did a good job. After finishing the 6 blades, it seemed like the disc was worn down a little more than I expected, but nothing too bad.

Item worked great, good product; I use to sharpen my lawn mower blades not a commercial user but only issue was had to buy so many 5 would have been good at a cheaper price.

These flapper disk do a great job! I just wish they lasted a little longer. I typically wear out 1 1/2 - 2 disks per job. That being said, I will continue to order them as they work very well! I will just keep some Diablo Steel Demons on hand as well.

Pretty reliable discs and a great bargain for the 20-pack. I chose the 40-grit and they immediately went to work on everything I put them to, mostly mild and stainless steel. For a larger media size the held up quite well while still remaining proficient at removing material as applied. Will definitely buy again.

Whilst I’ve had an angle grinder for 20 years, I’m new to welding and had been grinding using the cutting disc! - Am I alone on this? Then I found these - well whilst very sceptical - surely sanding discs are meant for wood - I thought I’d give them a go - well, they are just unbelievable, my world of steel has changed completely. I now have two angle grinders - one with the cutting discs and one set up with these flap discs.My bumpy welds are now sanded down so much easier and it also seems so much safer too.A terrific find.In terms of durability, they seem to last ages and like a cutting wheel, they get smaller with use, so easy to figure out when to change them.Since finding these I’ve now invested in different grit levels too, but for the initial removal job - these are the ones to go for.

I use a lot of disks for removing mill scale on fabrication projects. I tried these due to the review. I wasn’t impressed. Not saying they are bad for every application but for cleaning off mill scale I found they needed changing frequently with not much coverage.

Just don't! Don't use them without thick gloves and a full face mask...and keep out of the road of people. I've only used one...it wore down to nothing and fell to pieces within a few minutes use. I've been welding and fabricating for 30+ years, worst discs I've ever used
