WAR OF KINGS PRELUDE: ROAD TO WAR OF KINGS OMNIBUS Hardcover – April 4, 2017

This is still one of my all time favorite graphic novels. It is exciting and easy to read and keeps you the reader engaged without having to know too much back story. Some graphic novels feel like they are extensions of novels that you must read before you can understand them. There is back story to this set of books but even without that back story you will still enjoy reading this graphic novel.

Fantastic cosmic Marvel. This is the third omnibus in the cosmic series: Annihilation, Annihilation Conquest, Road to War of Kings, War of Kings, and War of Kings Aftermath. I know the classic stuff holds a special place in many fans hearts, but these newer stories are great! So many great creators contributed to the stories in these omnibuses, but for me, it doesn't get any better than Abnett and Lanning.

Came in mint condition and was a great read.I'm an Inhumans fan so couldn't put this one down! also great to read the first Guardians run. It's magnificent!

Incredibly interesting and dark. I love cosmic marvel story arcs and this is a great story

The book came with the spine dented. This is not a reflection of the story. I heard it was a great story. I have not unwrapped the omnibus yet and I hope when I do start reading this omnibus the dented spine doesnt cause issues. I will send another review after opening the book.

Really enjoyed the story this set up but make sure you have war of kings on deck cause It’ll drive you crazy!

Muy buena historia y en el correcto orden de lectura. Mi única queja con la historia es que hay cierto momento donde un personaje hace que los demás lo ayuden de manera "voluntaria" al grado de idolatrarlo pero al siguiente número todos parecen odiarlo y pareciera que justifican las acciones del número anterior como si realmente hubieran elegido un mal menor

This omnibus is basically vol 1 of a 3 volume set of omnibuses that covers war of kings in its entirety.Now this volume is a collection of mini series and story arcs that basically set the stage for the actual war of kings event. Most of these stories deal with the fallout from previous events like "house of M" and "secret invasion". In this way it def ties into those events more than it actually has to do with "war of kings".Now i have to admit, this is the first collection of various stories that i have read, where i can honestly say i loved all of them. All of them are just plain great.You find out why the inhumans are so pissed off that they leave earth to rule the kree. You learn who vulcan is and why he is spreeding to shi'ar space to raise hell. You see the gaurdians of the galaxy form there team officially for the first time. Then in nova you get to witness the reformation of the nova corps.In a way, i enjoyed this omnibus more than the two that follow this one. The individual stories are just that good. And thats saying alot. Because the other volumes were great.But all in all? If you love cosmic storylines? This is def your book. But fair warning. If you get this book. Its only part of the story. You will need to also buy the "war of kings" and "war of kings aftermath" omnibuses to get the full story. So it wont be cheap.
