Works. Zapps most bugs.
Holds a charge for a long time. Works well most of the time. It sometimes seems like the protection layer stops the bugs from being zapped but overall it works. Its satisfying and fun to hear them zzzzzzpt when you get one.

The smell of burning hair...
I'm actually an insect lover! But mosquitoes are blood suckers and I have boundaries that I enforce.I prefer the smell of burning hair to the feel of DEET on my skin! When this bad puppy fries the bugs -- and it does so dramatically, loudly, and very easily -- the smell is like, yes, burning hair! It's not a lot of that smell. Just enough so that I now find that aroma comforting (never would have thought it possible) because it affirms that there are that many less mosqitoes in my bedroom, in my living room, or whever I take the time to use this Device of Insect Doom.I would have given 5 stars but I had to emplace a paper barrier over the charger port because it kept leaking electricity into my hand while I was using the device, causing an uncomfortable mild zapping sensation that is not a desirable feature. I will remove the paper sticker when I recharge this thing. I've had it charged for a few weeks now and it's still going strong!

Exposed Charging Port is Located Where My Hand Naturally Wraps Around to Grip So I Get Zapped!!
To have the best chance to zap a mosquito you need to grap the zapper fast and start swinging. But the metal charging area is exactly where one's fingers wrap around. So if you are touching it when you press the button, you will feel a shock on your finger! So now I have to take extra time to make sure my fingers aren't touching it, which means my grip isn't as good. I'm thinking of covering that area with a bandaid when it use. And take the bandaid off to charge it.Otherwise it's a better zapper than the others I've had.

Takes some practicing.
My bf was able to learn and use it effortlessly. Me However I had and still have trouble with it. Every now and again I’ll get a fly and its pretty cool. But I feel like I am better at manual ones than this. My bf loves it and raves about it!

Watch out insects Macenroe is coming for you!
The moth infestation has now joined the endangered list... Best money i'v spent pertaining to this issue, my cat helps get the moths, when she witnessed it in action she was mesmorised, however she became gunshy of it for a while, however she now realizes we're on the same team and enjoys the show now. We couldn't be more satisfied.

Better than the salt gun
The only bad thing is it’s bulky and hard to hide but also keep accessible in time to catch pesky flies. This works so much better than the salt gun because it is so big it’s almost guaranteed dead flies. I do feel like I have to recharge it a lot. My kids love to use it to try and zap the fly right in front of their siblings faces. My dog goes completely nuts when he sees it out. Fun for the whole family. Not so much for the family of flies.

Works great!
I had purchased this same zapper a couple of years ago from a different company and it worked great. The handle eventually broke, so I bought this one to replace it. I really like zapping the flies and not having to clean up anything afterwards. They get stuck in the metal wiring and then I shake them off outside or into the trash can. Give the flies a couple of extra zaps. I've seen them buzz around in circles and then fly away after getting zapped only once. I've also used this for yellow jackets.

Does exactly what expected
I bought this to fight the army of mosquitoes that invaded my apartment, and it does the trick. It's big, so it's very hard for the mosquitoes to dodge it, and it's very light and easy to carry. It makes a loud popping sound when it zaps, so you can easily tell whether you killed the bug. Sometimes the dead bugs get stuck in the mesh, but they fall out pretty easily if you swish it around a couple times.
