I am so disappointed, and sad
I recently purchased a telescoping 24T Carbon Fiber spincast combo from Pulsano and was a little nervous about the purchase as I have never owned one of these "travel poles" before. At first, I was pleasantly surprised with the feel of the pole and extremely pleased with how smooth the reel operated. I liked it so much, I decided to buy this ultralight pole to do some trout fishing in the local streams in this area. When the new pole got here, I was even more impressed with it than I was with the original combo I purchased....well that feeling didn't last long, and neither did the pole. Within days (my third day to be exact), the tip of this pole snapped on what couldn't be more than an 8" crappie. The whippy tip bent (like it should) as I brought the panfish to the dock, and as I reached for the line to lift it out, the tip snapped like a twig.I figured it was just a defective rod, so I returned it and ordered the exact same pole again...with the exact same results. This time the tip snapped on a fast retrieve when something hit it, I went to set the hook...and you can figure out the rest on your own.I am a somewhat experienced angler, and fish almost daily. In 30 years, I have broken maybe 5 poles. 3 of them have been in the last 3 weeks. 3? Yes 3. Fast forward to today, I took about an hour road trip to fish a little lake north of home. On the third cast, my 24T spincast combo I started with snapped too when I pulled my spinnerbait through some vegetation on the bottom. The 10lbs test didn't snap, but the pole did on the 2nd eye down. Made for a short day, and an angry drive home.I figured the ultralight was an anomaly...but when the other broke, I now know it is the brand. I emphatically urge you to avoid this brand at any cost!!

Strange little fishing pole
This fishing pole works fine but is a bit floppy. I probably would have went with the light pole instead of the ultralight because of how much the tip bends. Also at the last section of the pole, there is a random line guide just hanging loose there. Never seen any fishing poles like this. The first time i used this combo, i caught 4 bass ranging from 1-2 pounds and was suprised on how good the fishing combo worked. The 1000 size reel isnt anything fancy but it works well. I mainly take this with me when i go on bike rides near lakes and rivers or when im doing lightweight kayak backpacking. Its fits right in my backpack with hardly any extra weight. I would recommend this for anyone looking for telescopic combo to fish bream crappie or trout. U might want a stronger rod for bass or catfish.

Fishing rod review
It catches fish for certain. The rod is limber which works very well for finesse rig setups. Casts well and collapses well for storage. The reel bail is a bit difficult to cam over compared to other spin reels I have used. The drag system is a bit rough but could iron out with use.. Additionally I am not certain why they placed an extra movable eyelet between the rod tip and first eyelet. This would catch the line periodically unless you slide it down to the larger diameter shaft of the rod to prevent spinning. I appreciate the rod tip protector for travel, a very nice touch from Plussino. All in all its a nice little rod that could be slightly better with a few changes. As far as price, you cannot beat it for the price point. Many collapsible telescopic fishing setups are much more costly. You couldn't go wrong here if your looking for a limber pack n go rod. Sometimes its better to have any rod available than absolutely no rod at all. Tight lines.

Great rods IF they are not initially defective
So I've bought 6 of these rods/ reals for Christmas presents 2 snapped immediately, no fish on, just tested with line should not snap at 3 joint or lower definitely. One has not been tested ( son in laws present) yet. 33 percent or more failure rate. Not good. Of the ones that did not break they were nice rods, they have a wierd non fixed eye (2nd to last eye)that spins occasionally but not that bad. We needed collapsing rods for kayaking.

Super ultra light. Fun rod.
This rod is great to throw micro lures. It easily bend to the lightest of weight. 1/8 oz lure feels heavy on this rod. I call this a super ultra light because it makes my ultralight rod feels like medium power. This rod makes fighting a small perch feels like it's a bass and fighting a rainbow trout feels like Chinook salmon. Quite fun. And the telescope feature makes it very portable. I just slip it in my belt rod holder and my hands are free.
