StealStreet Green Fairy Kneeling with Small Green & Yellow Dragon Figurine

This would have been a nice addition to the collection, had it not arrived damaged. The shipping box was fine, but the inner box had issues. There were several dents in the box, as if the corners had been banged around. I was a bit concerned to see it had been resealed with tape that read "This is a set. Do not separate", considering this item was, to my knowledge, only supposed to be 1 piece. Upon opening it, I found out that it actually Was a 2 piece set, since the dragon's wings were broken off the statue. Judging by the spot where the wings were supposed to be, there was a lot of glue residue on the statue. There was also glue built up on the wings themselves and part of the "stub" on the wings, used to attach them onto the statue was chipped. Either an attempt to re-glue the wings had been done incorrectly or it was poorly made during the initial production process. Although I find it hard to believe that the manufacturer would have placed the "this is a set" tape on a brand new, 1 piece item. The picture shows the unattached wings as well as the inner box with the re taped box flap. I thought of returning the item, but to be honest, I'm tired of having to return broken items lately. I'll try to fix this one or simply pitch it. I'm giving it 2 stars as opposed to 1, in the hopes that I can make it presentable, although I shouldn't have to be gluing it back together. I bought a statue/collectible figure, not a DIY model kit.

My thing is, this is not really a fairy in any way. As far as I can tell it is just a tattooed woman. The fairy aspect eludes me is all. Beyond that the thing is fantastic. Great little statuette with a lot of detail. The dragon and fairy are well painted and well designed. There is no major mold lines or unusual edges that were not meant to be there. The painting is well done and have found no major flaws with it. I like the way they blended the colors seamlessly unlike some I have bought before. There are no giant gaps from air bubbles or anything of the like.This product does have the brand or logo on the back. It says Dream Eden, but it is on the back thankfully. And does not stand out very much in any case. It it intricate and I am well pleased. The woman is kneeling in a pool of a clear hard plastic(not sure what it is) that looks very close to water. There is a felt sticker applied to the bottom as well which I love because it keeps it from scratching the surface and is much better than the small pads. The felt covers the bottom and it goes slightly over. I never bothered to trim it as its only over by hairs width. Quite pleased with the purchase.

I know this figurine is listed as a Fairy, but since she doesn't have wings I'll just think of her as an Elf (or else I'll make a pair of wings for her!). At any rate, her features are just beautiful as are the details on the rest of the piece. It's not the typical Fairy Garden sculpture that's so often seen these days so that makes this one all the more noticeable and outstanding. I was very happy to add this to my collection.

I bought this as a gift it was really pretty unfortunately it was damaged in shipping so I had to return it but I did we purchase it

This is a beautiful piece! The dragon looks fantastic and the woman is beautiful. I don't know why they call it a fairy since she doesn't have wings, but she is still very beautiful. In my opinion, fairies have wings. I highly recommend the piece to anyone who loves dragons.
