Seat Bolt mountThis mount is very easy to install. Just loosen the passenger seat bolt, slide the mount bracket under the bolt, tighten the bolt. The mount has a 15" Gooseneck Swivel Mounting Pedestal, this allows you to place our device in the perfect position for optimal viewing. This mounting solution does not require drilling. We do include additional hardware if you do want to permanently install the bracket, but it is not necessary. The mount comes with a 4 hole amps plate. The holes will line up with the remote head mounts from Yaesu and most Alinco radios. You will have to drill two holes in the Icom bracket or the Kenwood bracket. This is not a big project. Pretty easy to do.

Solid, strong, gets the job done
I am using this mount with a Yaesu FT7900 transceiver control head in my 2003 Toyota Tacoma. The mount for the control head fits perfectly with the Lido seat bolt mount. I was impressed with the semi-flexible material making up the core of the mount, and impressed with the mounting system top and bottom. I initially thought it would be too long to fit as I wanted, but actually made a better mount than I planned with the extra length. I have not used it on rough roads, so I don't know how it will perform there, but my guess is that some secondary stabilization may be needed. I very much like this mount and my only complaint is a minor one, and that being that the instructions and accompanying information were sparse. In the end, I figured it out.....but it would have helped to have more information about bending, potential cutting, and other questions. All told, it's a solid product that I can recommend.

Very sturdy, does a great job for Ham radio remote head unit.
I've purchased two of these for two vehicles and will probably order a third for another vehicle. This thing is very solid and does not bend too easily. It puts my radio remote head in easy reach without cluttering up my vehicle dash and blocking my view. It's flexible enough to (with a little effort) move it to where I want it, without bending or moving every time I hit a bump. Solid piece of gear. I have two different mobile radios. I have the vehicle set up so that I can move either radio to either vehicle pretty easily. Mounting the main radio unit is the hard part. With this gooseneck switching the heads is easy, as is removing the head to hide or take with you.

The perfect mount!
Used this mount to support my FTM-400XDR controller. Instead of screws I used heavy duty velcro for easy removal of head. Perfect mount for my application. I highly recommend. Can be used for other applications with a little imagination. Will purchase another soon for the wife truck to support Yaesu HF radio.

You may like it, I don't.
I'm pretty disappointed in this style of mount. I had to use the screws to drill into my floor board because my front passenger seat doesn't have a bolt. I assumed this would have provided better support than one bolt anyways but I was wrong. The end result has inches of play in it. I feel like I'm chasing my radio's faceplate all over the car trying to adjust the VFO knob. I think this will be a temporary mount until I can find something more secure. I really wanted this to work because it looks really cool.

A great way to mount something in your vehicle.
I wanted to mount a control head for my ham radio. I don't like drilling holes in my vehicles, so I use a mount like this. I've used similar in a Jeep, Toyota FJ cruiser, and now my Chevy pick up. It mounts to the bolt at the base of the seat and it extends up to about my knee as I"m sitting. I have ended up sticking my radio under the front seat and running the power cables under the floor mat then into either the cigarette lighter, or another power supply. The antenna cable is run into the car, then under the floor mat. This is an easy way to get it done. And when I'm in area thats not all that safe, it all goes under the seat.
