M-D Building Products 45909 Carpet Trim, Charcoal

I needed a black transition strip for a bathroom entry where tile and carpet meet. This is what we needed. I have used transition strips many times and it's a pretty routine project. They seem to be holding up well though it's impossible to know how many times any of us having actually stepped directly on the strip and not walked "over" it. But it's been quite a few months now and they still look great.

The product arrived bent & scratched. Only 4 nails included - need 8. Product worked for my space - but, I will have to buy another one since half of it was unusable.

Scratched upon arrival. No thanks.

Scratches easily and shows marks

This is pretty shiny and wasn’t scratched out of the box but did scratch easily after unpacking. Also wasn’t straight but has slight wave to it which mostly would disappear after nailing it down. On a pinch if use this again but first I’d check out other options.

Bought 3 of these, Every single one of them came bent.
