Aesthetics are beautiful. The knife is definitely sharp. Bandaid. I sliced a ripe tomato so thin, it was incredible. This knife is sturdy, feels great in your hand. It's the perfect knife for every kitchen. I'm so happy with this purchase.

The knife is very beautiful to look at with a solid weight and balanced feel in the hand, the large curved razor sharp belly of the knife guilds effortlessly thru frozen meat, tomato's and even soft bread it's full tang and plummel with a riveted wood handle make this a real working knife i love the indentures on the side of the blade makeing slices slide of the blade easily. It's 4116 steel, German stainless steel, used for surgical instruments. Good stuff indeed,I see It listed on Amazon for $50 and I'd even say it might be worth it, but I got it on AMZN for only $10 nice.

As a kitchen knife, it's better than average. It handles well and stays sharp. I like the friction bumps. I would buy it again.
