It would be for big kids as on the sizing chart. You can always check their website too. With that being said I would by a size larger on the flats. I normally wear size 36 but buy 37/38 havaianas when they are flat. And I don't think it is the same as European size. i am pretty sure the Brazilian system is different. It usually has on the tag BR, US, and EU.
