Grain size was larger than I expected.
I liked product, only wish each “grain size” was smaller to mimic Trader Joe’s brown rice medley. Still the taste and nuttiness was there.

Hitch Hikers in the bag
I like this black barley and would love to give it 5 starts, but wow, I have used it several times now and this morning I got it out and the jar is just crawling with weevils. Evidently there were a lot of eggs in the bag and they are now hatching. I learned a lesson that I should have thought of when it arrived, stick it in the freezer for 2 weeks before leaving it at room temperature. Seems like the factory that this came from must have a weevil infestation.

Bad quality product
Barley package came with traces of heavy insect infestation. It was also 2 months away from the expiration date. Disappointed in quality; got refund from Amazon for it.
