Japanese Sake Set, Sake-Kanji, a bottle”Tokkuri” and a cup”Ochoko”, set of 2

It started to crack and leak just after a few uses.

Bought a bunch of Sake Sets; Tea/Coffee Cups and Plates from the ISSIKI folks. Pretty impressed of the quality and artistry on these units for the price. Had a return on a chipped cup that went really smoothly - which is why we bought more things. So cool that they wrapped individual items in newspapers from Japan.

Really love the look of this set. The hand crafted look really gives a more personal appeal then a lot of sets I had seen online. I only needed a set for myself as no one I know drinks sake. I wanted something with a bit more style then something I had already owned, as well as drink Sake properly. You can't tell from the picture itself but it is cracked but then has a nice smooth finish to it giving it an older antique look to it in which I love. While the set is a bit small(about the size of a handful, though that make pouring and handling very easy) I am unable to store a full 750ml bottle of sake in the fridge, but that is a minor issue and really not going to complain considering how well this set was made and how affordable it is.

Got this as a gift for a friend. Like it very much, is same as the photo. Nice gift!
