Yes,it's waterproof, the material is Oxford cloth base and polyester fiber sidewall, thanks for your attention!

Q: What's the material? it's durable?

Not sure what the material is. It has to be durable to be able to stand on it but to be honest, I've only used it about 5 times so not a good test but I get changed on a stony beach. Glad I bought it though as it saves a lot of messing around and it has pockets inside to put your stuff in. I bought one for my son and saw how well it worked so bought one for myself! Hope this helps!
