Rubiesgirls Dc Superheroes Child's Supergirl Costume

The costume was a good quality with an actually embroidered logo patch on the front instead of a screen print. The fabric was rich looking and my 9 year old granddaughter loved it. She wore blue capri leggings under it for warmth and coverage (she's a cheerleader and they tend to jump around a lot and tumble) and it worked out fine for her Halloween activities. I purchased a medium (she wears size 8-10) and it just fit. I could have probably used a large, but that might have been too big. The sizing was fine for this year's use. The boot/shoe covers in this size were too small to cover her size 2.5 youth shoes. We tucked them under at the bottom to give the illusion of boots above her tennis shoes. They stayed up just fine because she is athletic and has shapely calves; skinny straight legs would have been a problem and probably would have required costume tape to keep them from slipping down. All in all, I was pleased with the quality for the price.

Very well made. Quality materials albeit thin fabric. Deep, vivid colors, true to picture. All red and gold material is metallic finish with soft polyester on inside. Blue is velveteen finish. Much more a dress-up outfit for repeated use rather than Halloween costume. Medium size fit 48" tall 7-year old who weighs about 55-60 pounds who was wearing light street clothes underneath. She is between an Old Navy/Children's Place 6x/7 and Medium-7/8. The leg pieces are not boots - they are boot tops as noted in product description. They are open on the bottom and child must wear her own shoes. Hem of each piece has to be fitted over shoes but is not elasticized. Was tight on kids size 12-13 sneakers. Each boot top also has two black elastic pieces that join with velcro to make a stirrup that can be placed into foot arch or on the outside of a heeled shoe. Cape is a separate piece with velcro that mates to small pieces of velcro either side of bodice collar. We are going to get a lot of wear out of this. Recommended.

I absolutely love this Halloween costume I wore it when I was in first grade I am 5‘ 80 pounds in this costume was a perfect size. The texture in the performance of it was beyond perfect. It was super comfortable to wear for a couple hours. It fit perfect it gave me no issues throughout the night everything about it was perfect the packaging, and how organize the packaging was was perfect. It looks exactly like the photos. It was very adorable throughout the whole night and all the movements and everything I did. I will definitely be wearing this again , 100 out of 10 recommend this Halloween costume!!!

Simply fabulous! I love it as much as my five and a half year old granddaughter does. It is very well-made using a wonderful choice of fabrics and fits perfectly. She usually wears a size six, and I don't think she'll be able to wear this for a year, so it's definitely nowhere near a standard size eight. I'm glad I didn't get a size Large, though because this Medium just looks so good on her.

At first I was going to get a size small for my 5 year old cause she wears size 6 clothes but realized the size chart that it wouldn't probably fit her. So went with a medium (size 8-10) and it fits just right. So make sure you look at the size chart before you get a size that you think would fit your little one! It isn't sized the same way regular clothes do for kids! I wish it was a little bit bigger for my daughter so she can fit it a long time and play dress up with it after halloween but it looks like she will grow out of it fast since it just fits her now. Usually halloween costumes do end up a little bigger but not this one! In all though the material is great and it could fit over my daughters clothes if it is cold for halloween by us. And yes I also can see the boots end up sliding down a lot but I could deal with that! She is very happy with it and excited to wear it! She even wants me to get the adult costume like this so we can match lol! But we will see if I even have any money by then for it!

Purchased for superhero day and it got the job done ! Made well and even cuter on !

Very good costume.

Fit well but cape, skirt and boots were stuck together and left marks when pulled apart.
