I do like this product as it applies and stays on well, but the gentle brown is quite red. Luckily I have a touch of red tones in my hair so it still works, but would prefer the red to be played down a bit. In my opinion, this should be labeled as "Auburn". I ordered the brown too, but it was really dark and had to return it. Would love if they made a color between these two.

Five stars for the pencil (I have it in brown) this color was way off from reviews.I read reviews that it was too ash and then too red.I assumed it would be more ash. To me it is perfect for blondes and redheads.I am an aesthetician. I had to rate first...best pencil I have ever used and Iown everything from Anastasia... probably every eyebrow pencil and powderfrom Ulta and Sephora. So...the brown is the best color for brown hair, light, dark,I have brown hair with highlights and a medium tone skin, semi olive ( Polish/Sicilian)Hope this is helpful.it's all about the application.

This is a great product and I am glad the pencil comes with a brush. When you first apply it, it has a slight tendency to be ever so slightly crumbly, I guess kind of like a powder, but when you use the brush, it smooths it out and it looks great.

I have cool skin tone but this brown (Gentle Brown) is very warm/more like an orangy-tan color so it's not the greatest. I like the lightness of the color but the shade doesn't work very well for me. Otherwise, I like the product. The brush is great! Very dense bristles that do a good job of shaping things into place.

I like the texture -- smooth and stays on. The color I got (Belgian Chocolate) was really dark, way too dark for me.

This is the best brow pencil I have ever used. Feels natural. Goes on easily but is Not greasy or waxy. Stay on better than others I have used. I recommend the 'gentle' brown even if you have very dark hair. The brown is very dark almost like black/brown. So if you want that dark than order brown instead of gentle brown.

Happy with product so far. Looks good, easy to use, like the brush on the end.

Bought two, gentle brown and blond, brown is ok, blond is realy hard to apply,so keep reaching for brown,nice light brown colour.

I love the colour of this but it doesn't go on that smoothly and is a bit waxy would much prefer a more powdery texture.

Is hard like a stone and thus, impossible to draw a single a line with it.

Bellissimo colore di matita. Per me che faccio l'henné, si avvicina molto al colore dei capelli.Solo che, quando ho tolto il tappo, ho visto che la punta era consumata, come se fosse stata usata! Non era semplicemente rotta la punta, perché dentro non c'era il pezzetto rotto e poi era liscissima la superficie.Ho fatto la punta e via.. ma sinceramente ci sono rimasta...
