Lives up to its claims!!! Burns for a solid 12 minutes with a constant 4 inch soft yellow flame. Add almost 1 minute more for red hot embers which can ignite anything you got, just blow. Gives off tons of heat. Might want to roll it over half way through burn...sometimes the bottom might stay unlit. Well packaged in two sealed plastic bags (9 in each bag). Measures 6 inches in length for each. Stick them in a ziplok and in your pocket..good to go. Lights with flame, ferro rod and even a sparklite. Totally waterproof. One of these equals six of the SOL cotton tinders. Can be cut down to any size. Burns very hot and absolutely no odor. I embed a strike anywhere match into the center and candle wax the head for waterproof. lighter is then built in.

Bought this for camping and they work great. Really only need one for every fire you start. Would definitely buy again!

It took a while for these to light, but once they did, they did a great job and I love that they do not contain harmful chemicals, which is a must if you plan to cook anything over your campfire.

These are great and easy to use!

Burns too cold and needs lots of ventilation around. Not ideal for lighting a stack of coals.

Used the product to light a charcoal fire at an event, satisfied with my purchase.
