Surebond SB-12 Metal Bond Sealant, 10.3 oz, Gray

Good stufd, just gotta work fast. Used it for full outer rocker panel slip on install, lots of sealent, without much work time. It worked good, just wish it had 20-30 min work time.

Bonded two metal objects together but not super strong . I prepped the two metal objects to be bonded by grinding the surface with a hand held grinder, bring the surfaces to bare clean metal. I then applied the adhesive to the surface and placed the two objects together. After 72 hours, I checked the strength of the bond by putting opposing hand force against the two objects. The two objects separated after using moderate force.This product would be fine for light duty bonding two metal objects together that will not be subject to moderate to high force against the bonded seam.UPDATE: After going thru a northern winter, the cured and sheltered bond failed on all that I adhered using it.

Product is a great product, but the end cap seal had a gap which let product receive air and of course over half the tube is a solid rock. Although it says eligible for return or refund, product is not. So out $18 bucks. Just be aware on return policy. Product itself is always amazing.
