My opinion: Excellent Product, Only lost a star as mine arrived spilled out of the box in the bubble package. This etched alright on a 2w Fiber on 2000mms and 400mms at 100% power. The metal under the paint appears darker either rusty or stained when hit by the fiber. Ill investigate further with stronger laser later. it has a redish color to it not a deal breaker for me(updated aug-28-23) 50w laser was able to etch down to a shiny steel with 2 pass. Only 1 was chipped and a minor amount so restoring the star but better packaging is needed like a wrap of tape on the box to hold them.

Bought these to engrave for business cards (nobody wants to throw away your business card when it’s such a handy bottle opener to have around)! Very solid and thick as others have described, definitely not going to bend or break under stress. Not sure why some are having issues engraving, but it takes a higher power setting and lower speed than say aluminum or brass. Is it really stainless steel? I don’t know I’m not a metallurgist, but the engravings comes out beautifully once you get it dialed in (make sure to clean the residue with alcohol or acetone as soon as you’re done and you can’t go wrong with these)!

As someone who orders laser blanks all the time, I was pleased to find these higher quality than I was expecting. These are weighty, thick metal that will certainly engrave well and make great gifts. Highly recommend.

Awesome product

Great value, very solid and easily customizable. Only issue I had was with the packaging. The box they came in was ripped open and all the openers were out of their protective sleeves. I read lots of bad reviews about this product but can 100% say it’s operator error for their products not coming out how they want. The coating is pretty thick so even with my 50W laser, I have to hit it 4 times at cross hatch just to get to the metal. finish it by running a white steel setting and wipe down with alcohol and a magic eraser. Not a single issue. People just don’t know what they’re doing.

These do not engrave or score well on my 40w CO2 laser. The metal underneath is 100pct NOT STAINLESS STEEL... looks like some sort of cheap brass. Of course, I waited too long to test these and I can't return. Total waste of money. Photos are after 3 passes, 1st engraved, 2nd scored.

The media could not be loaded. Took two tries to adjust my settings to ensure I would have a clean engraving. Needed to run a two pass engraving, applied some vinegar and after a few seconds wiped off the vinegar. It required very little rubbing. After a 5 second wipe, all of the residue was removed. I will update after a few days if the exposed metal changes color. As many others have commented, a magnet does attach itself but there are some stainless steel that a magnet will attach too.

Rust within a few hours exposed to air either figure out a way to seal in the engraving or buy other bottle opener not these.
