The God Who Answers Prayer: The Work of the Father, Son, and Spirit in Prayer (The Puritan Prayer Trilogy)

Great Little Book
I love the Puritan writers, and this is an easily digestible example of some of their finest. Clarkson says more in 79 pages than a modern would say in 700. He focuses on the attributes and plans of God that enable us to pray. The book is not full of cute anecdotal stories of how the writer achieved this or that. He focuses on giving God the glory, and he does it by comparing scripture with scripture, the way it should be done. If you love the Lord, but would like to pray more, this is the book for you.
