Everyone said these were bigger than standard piping tips, I didn't realize just how big. I am by no means a professional baker, but was in need of an easy way to decorate cakes. I don't have good luck with tips in the corner of a sandwich bag like everyone on Pinterest does. I thought maybe a new type of equipment would help. I usually need to decorate cupcakes for my boys parties but this time I actually needed to do a sheet cake, so having such big tools was ok. They were easy to use and because they were bigger than other tips, they were easier to clean.

Once you get going, it just goes so fast! I keep looking for reasons to use them. I've been decorating for friends just for the fun of it. Most of them have been "boring" 2 colors, but I got two rocking 3 color sets. There are some great videos that show how to get neat clean double & triple colors for piping. I can't wait to buy more of these & really go to town. Buy them now, while you can. Soon, everyone will want them. WAY TOO MUCH FUN! Never going back to the old tips.

The piping tips set makes for a really impressive gift! I gave these to my mom who is taking a cake decorating class. She was really impressed with the metal tip construction and the fact that the bags are easy to reuse and wash. The other students all asked where she got her set since their tips less intricate.

These came in a lovely box that makes them feellike what they are, a gift to myself. They are larger than I was expecting.I bought extra piping bags to use with these.

I started cake decorating decades ago with traditional Wilton tips and when I saw these Russian tips and their potential I purchased them. I still decorate cakes in the "old school manner", meaning with buttercream frosting only so my tips get a lot of use.The tips are large, much larger than your standard Wilton Brand, but they produce a really nice quality result with minimal work. The flowers are gorgeous and the main reason I purchased this starter set. The silicone bags are great but I still prefer the feel of cloth bags. I love the tri-color coupler, normally I use 3 seperate plastic piping bags inside a larger cloth bag using a standard coupler but with this one it is far more precise and easier. I am extremely happy with these and plan on purchasing a much larger set of Russian tips in the future.

Nice set. Very sturdy. I have not had the opportunity to use them yet.
