Perfect for QD bipod!
I used this to make my bipod a QD bipod for my AR-15.Works perfectly, and lets me swap my bipod on or off my rifle in under 3 seconds.Great way to reduce weight forward of the receiver while still being able to at a moment's notice plop on the bipod to get that perfect shot stability if you're gonna be taking a lot of shots from prone, or just want to easily equip it when firing from the bench, then having it off when at home.I'm sure any other accessory you want to transform into a QD accessory will work, too, so long as it mounts to the rail properly.

Amazing quality at a low price!
Excellent product at a very attractive price. I bought three. One mounts my Bushnell red dot sight, the other two mount my 4X scope. On my M-4 carbine, I needed to remove my front sight - no big deal, just a couple of minutes of work - so the red dot did not superimpose on the tip of the sight. This gives me a fast and perfect field of vision, with the "ears" of the front sight almost automatically drawing your eye to the red dot. It also now completely clears the view of the low mounted scope. Removal and replacement of either takes you back to a perfect zero. Just remember to pull the mount back in the slots as you lock it down. Easily mounted and adjusted right out of the packaging, in just a couple of minutes. With no effort to re-zero the scope after installing the lever mounts, my first group was just over an inch "off" at 100 yards. That is great precision.

A note for Kel-Tec 2000 Owners...
For just about everyone else this will work just fine, but in my case I wanted to use it to mount along with a Green Blob Extremely Low Profile Offset mount on my Kel-Tec 2000 so I can fold the rifle and keep the scope on.The Green Blob is awesome, but the UTG is to wide to allow the rifle to fold without rubbing the stock/buffer tube. I've begun filing down the UTG to get the needed clearance (not as fun as it sounds).Other that that issue, the mount locks up tight and is otherwise very well made, and I'd recommend it for anyone not trying to do what I'm trying to do with it.

Does what it's supposed to
Using this on a kel-tec sub 2000 with a Bushnell Tr-25. Got the flip lever design so I can pop the optic of fir stowing the gun in the folded position. This set up works nicely, Co-witnesses the optic with the post site, and seems to zero every time. The only thing you need to be mindful of is making sure you tighten down the Allen nut enough that sets the tension on the lever. Given that the rail on the sub 2k is polymer material I had to be careful not to over do it so the plastic didn't deform taking the mount on and off. Found the sweet spot and it sets up nice each time I throw it on.

Excellent product
I wanted to install a red dot sight on my rifle but attachment directly to the picatinny rail left the sight too low. I needed add a riser. Most riser I found were too tall and would have been attached using a screw. This one solved the issues as it was just the correct height of about 3/4 of an inch, and as a bonus it locks in place using a clamp style attachment. The tension of the clamp is adjustable and solidly attaches to the rifle without coming off. This way the sights San be removed simply and quickly for packing the rifle or other reasons and reattached with little if any variation of the aim point

Just right for what I needed
Over a period of years, I've purchased quite a few products from UTG, and I've never had any issues with anything they've sent me. I'm happy to see that they've started making some of their stuff in the USA. This item at QD riser is made in China, and I doubt that anyone here makes something like this. I may, or may not, use this for a red dot optic, which has a Torx head rail attach. I like to be able to take things off my rifle rail, if they aren't needed for what I'm using it for. For the time being, I mounted a Streamlight TRL 2 on it, and it fit perfectly! I don't always need that light, so when I don't, it comes right off with no tools. I like this product, and I like UTG, so I am most likely buying three more of these to mount varmint lights on, to mount on various rifles. Most of our property defense happens at night, with wild pigs, coyotes, and other mid size varmints, but if I'm taking one of those rifles to the range, it's nice to easily remove the varmint light. So, yes, I am pleased with this purchase, and would recommend UTG products to friends and family, and will continue to purchase UTG products myself.

You get what you pay for
Product is of course lower quality than an amd or other well known quality brand BUT for the price and reasonable value it fits the bill. The threads will strip easily if you over tighten the tension screw so my advice is snug fit is enough. Would I trust this to hold any of my expensive optics? NO would I be ok as a way to quick attach a bipod? YUP this is better suited to air soft over real world application...go with a reputable brand and understand 16 dollars is what you get. I think it's good for what I got it for

Good product design
What I liked about this unit is that by operating the lever, I could remove the sight from the pic rail without unscrewing two bolts with an allen wrench and sliding it down the rail until the rail ends. NO tools, no problem. When adjusted properly and cammed in, the site is very secure. Good product for my AR.

Works great
I wanted a "cheaper" version (besides an arca rail) to be able to remove my bipod. This works great.I can snap it on and off or move it along my picatinny rail nicely. I use this in PRS (22lr). Just what I was looking for. I ended up getting a second for the same setup on a different gun.
