Bought the Aqara earlier but had to return it as it required a hub (gateway). This MI Door Sensor 2 does not require gateway to work if you only need it as a detector for doors and windows. Works well with Xiaomi Home App and with the MI 360 camera, humidifier and Purifier without a hub. It's also easy to install
