NYDJ Jeans were too small as I have to wear a high rise jean or they slip down.

NYDJ’s sizing confuses me
I really like the comfort of these jeans. I probably should have ordered a size 10 but I’m wondering if that would be too small. I ordered a different style of NYDJs in the same size -12- and everything fit great except the waste was so tight it made me sick. I’m 70+, 5’5” and 145 lbs and would rather have it too loose than too tight. So your guess is as good as mine what size to get.

Sized Wrong
I've been wearing size 10 Marilyn NYDJ for years. Never had a pair that don't fit properly. These came and I threw them in the wash. Turns out, big mistake. They are 1 or 2 sizes too big and literally slide down when I put them on. Can't return them so will donate and mark them 12-14.
