I got this to use for my school's picture day. It was loud, clear, and incredibly crisp. Best school supply I've ever bought.

This megaphone was perfect and a real crowd pleaser!!!! Easy to use and loud enough for everyone to hear. The kids loved it but I think the adults might have loved it even more! Priced great too ..

Works really well, great price, great color, and still works perfectly after two months. A+

This may not be a professional PA but it can be loud. I've used it to talk to the kids in the back rows in a vehicle and to summon them back in while they're out riding waves in the middle of the lake. I don't know the decibel level. While it's easy to trigger feedback/squealing with this it's also fairly avoidable if you are familiar around a mic. Unit is pretty light (seems wimpy, but has held up, and conveniently light). Feature wise it does have a record button that you can say a few things and then save, then press to playback. Only seems to save one phrase at a time. It also has a car alarm like noise, and if you hold it longer it turns into a crappy happy birthday rendition, or pess again and go back to the wee woo noise. Pretty lame choices. No frills, no Bluetooth, no radio, no adjustments other than volume. Has a strap I've never unrolled because I figure it will break. Handle appears to fold and I don't touch that either. Want a handheld PA megaphone that works... for next to nothing? This is it!

I liked everything about it except for the button that opens the latch for the batteries is SO easy to accidentally hit with your finger, so the heavy batteries can fly out of it at any point! They need to move that button or have a safety feature to keep the battery door shut! If they did it would be perfect!

The first thing I noticed about this was that the folding handle is extremely short which makes the device uncomfortable to hold. I ignored that, and it was effective while I used it. Within 3 days the rubber rimming that goes around the megaphone fell off. Within 2 weeks the recording function which had worked great stopped working, and the final time I used it every time I tried to speak through it, the siren effect would go off, with absolutely no touching of the siren button. So it is completely unusable at this point. I don't write many negative reviews and I absolutely believe this product is very poorly designed.

Great to use with my classroom during recess!

I used this on ghe playground at school so I can talk to the kufd across the field easier, they all got a good kuck out of it too.
