Decent mini speaker. But comparing it to the X-Mini that I bought 5 years ago (the power cord finally broke the reason I bought this), I like the X-Mini better. The sound is comparable but the construction doesn't feel near the quality and doubt the Vomhome will take the rigors I put the X-Mini through. Already having problems with it not staying locked down. It pops up after a few minutes on a regular basis. I like the rubberized coating. It makes it easier to grip and harder to drop. I gave it 4 stars mainly by comparing the construction to the X-Mini. Worth giving it a try if size is important.

I used this (and another, slightly smaller version from another company), as portable amplified speakers to connect to my MP3 player and be able to play some music while on a vacation. It works fine for the purpose... we didn't need to fill a big hall, just provide some tunes for our small cottage. I haven't played it long enough to test out the "10+ hours of continuous playback " claim, but if it gets half of that I'd be satisfied.

For price it is a good speaker but I liked my previous X-mini a little bit better. It had a better bass and never struck me as having a "tinny" sound, which this occasionally does. Next time I'll probably spend a few bucks more and see where I end up. But this is above satisfactory (hence the four star rating).

Very pleased with overall sound for such a compact speaker. Very convenient travel size. better sound and features than similar items found in electronic stores and price could not be beat by a long shot.

This is a remarkable little speaker! Don't expect it to be functional for a large space, but for a small space it is perfect. I use it for guided mediations.

Not too impressed because the top and bottom of the speaker don't stay together and the speaker isn't as loud as I had hoped.

For a small portable speaker at a very modest price, it does a great job

Not much in the way of volume. I bought two and one started cutting off sometimes and you have to fiddle with the cord to get it to come back on. No idea why since it is hooked up to an Echo and is never touched.
