Best kept secret in the music industry.
Heard Billy Gibbons singing with Daryl Hall on a TV show and he sounded unusually rich. The tone was so good I went nuts trying to figure out the signal chain. I found out on a forum that the sound guy uses Miktek PM9's and not much else for that tone. I bought one, and am completely blown away. This thing is a beast. It's like a handheld SM7 with just a bit more mid punch and slightly snappier high (without being brittle at all). It's outstanding on warm vocals for country and is especially great on aggressive heavy metal vocals. It lends heft to a male voice without losing the top end clarity and wetness. It also feels great to hold. It's heavy and is coated in a thin matte rubber texture. This is my new favorite mic, and I didn't have to spend over a thousand for it! I wish I had this mic 15 years ago.

Its good value for Money
I tried this in comparison to several mics, and preferred it over e835, SM 58, encore 300, and shure sm86.It is pretty good and i would put it in the same level as a e935. Needs a little tweaking on the eq, to get it right.

Mic holder too small defective
I have ordered two of these same mics- This one 1 thru Amazon and another one thru Sweetwater. Both broke immediately. I know how to put mica on a holder and have do e it endless times. This is a defect in their Mic holder The mic holder is too small and defected. The mic itself is wonderful. Its ashame they havent noticed their mic holder is way too small and not flexible

Great smooth mic
Not sure why this microphone doesn't have many reviews, but what a great microphone compared to the standard Dynamics on the market. It has a very smooth sound with a presence that is not harsh sounding. Sounds somewhat like a condenser microphone. The microphone also saturates very pleasantly due to the custom Transformer

great microphone!!
I chose this as the first mic of my own to carry with me. I have used BETA58a, Ｍ80 & Ｅ835 and I liked it the most. I agree with other reviewers that this mic is great.
