Tuesdays Like That: A romantic comedy (A Love Like This Book 5)

A fun rom-com with likable characters; I enjoyed spending time with them. The situation that brought the characters together required some suspension of belief, but their developing relationship was often humorous and sometimes poignant. A good read KG

This book was just what I needed, full of good people (and pets), finding their way to happily ever after through thick and thin. I enjoyed it and will be looking for other books from this author.

Tuesday and Jordan are fun characters to read about! I loved the sunshine/grumpy dynamic and it was funny how the accidental marriage came about. I especially loved Tuesday! She is cheerful and looks on the bright side, unless it’s morning and she hasn’t had coffee yet. 😂 She makes friends everywhere she goes, which I really admired. I am an introvert with social anxiety, so while I love spending time with people that I know, I have a hard time meeting new people. So I am nothing like Tuesday in that respect, but I loved that part of her personality! Jordan is protective and sweet, and I thought he was a perfect fit for Tuesday. His family is great, and I loved seeing more of the Boone family in this book!I liked the house renovation parts of the book, as well as Tuesday’s work on creating perfume and cologne! Quick, sweet and funny marriage of convenience story with an age gap romance and meddling grandmas. The flirting was cute and I really liked Tuesdays character. I didn’t love the third act break-up and wanted a little more tension in the marriage of convenience aspect.Romantic Content: Kisses

I was surprised that Jordan went along with the fake marriage ceremony especially after his grandmother stopped at the courthouse and he ended up signing something he didn’t look at. Tuesday was either naive or lacked common sense and her new employer was even worse and the cause of her issues with the law. Tuesday is struggling and homeless at one point but doesn’t want to accept help unless it’s a job. But yet she would go out of her way to help others. Maybe it was all her energy, but the story moved from one topic to the next and was hard to follow at times. Jordan is not sure if he wants to be with Tuesday, but he’s jealous when other men pay her attention and acts like a caveman. There were several laugh out loud moments; the crazy hijinks between them renovating his cousin’s house, the dog everyone was afraid of that loved Tuesday, and all the animals she can’t say no to.

This is a guaranteed Happy Ending with an unusual twist thrown in. It was like a hot mug of caramel hot cider on a cold day.

I have enjoyed this series so much! The Boone family is an absolute riot. I love all of their quirks, and how much they deeply care about each other.Tuesday and Jordan have such a fun story. I like stories that involve older people meddling, and Mimi sure does meddle in this one! If you enjoy the fake marriage trope, this is for you! Tuesday and Jordan’s banter is excellent. The kisses are sweet and swoony.Definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series.

Anything Carina Taylor writes is an automatic must read, but honestly I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this much let alone love it. Since I loved the last book and was never really a fan of Jordan in the previous books, I was hoping for a Jenny book.Okay, I had high high hopes for this because of the MOC and IT DELIVERS. Jordan redeemed himself and now shares an equal spot with Mack (Hagen and Noah will always be in the top 2). I enjoyed the banter between him and Tuesday. Not only was it humorous but it also had heart in having the characters deal with their own insecurities.As always, this is a must read!

I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH! This is Carina Taylor at her best. The perfect amount of angst, drama, romance, and heart. Definitely my favorite out of all the a love like this books!! This book was brilliant! I can't begin to tell you how much I loved it! The sense of humour of both Jordan & Tuesday was amazing. The way these two understood each other and were able to make any situation turn funny was fantastic. I fell in love with the story because of the witty dialogue, engaging writing, funny banter, a palpable chemistry and amazingly developed side characters. I laughed so much while reading every chapter and my heart just feels happy. This book was un-put-downable, swoon-worthy and just overall such a light hearted read. I can't wait to continue with the series. Carina Taylor's writing style has me hooked, I can't remember that last time I laughed so much while reading a romance book, seriously it was so good. If you're in a bad mood you should definitely pick this up because if you want to have a good laugh and escape reality, you'll probably enjoy this too!
