I adore NAVA's line! I have several of their products and have loved each and every one of them I've tried. This gentle foaming gel cleanser is great for sensitive skin like mine. It goes on clear and has a light pleasant scent I enjoy, foams up really well and washes off without leaving any residue. My skin is left feeling clean and ready for moisturizer, refreshed and beautiful. I just love this cleanser! It's great for washing off makeup too. Doesn't hurt my eyes. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone.I use this product as part of my own personal skincare routine. Individual results could vary from person to person. This gentle cleanser became one of my favorites within just a few days of first using it. I love trying new and unique skincare products, and when I saw this daily cleanser by Nava MD, I admired its cool green packaging and luxe-looking bottle. But it was the mention of "Aquabeautine XL" that really piqued my interest. This product was formulated by the founder of Restorsea, a fantastic skincare brand that has been notable for its use of Aquabeautine XL, an enzyme released by baby salmon when they are ready to hatch. In salmon, it dissolves the eggshell membrane, thereby releasing the baby fish and allowing it to hatch. In human skin, it gently dissolves the old dead skin cells, allowing younger, clearer skin to 'hatch'. It's a very mild but effective form of exfoliation, and that's what makes this product special. But of course, it's not unique to Nava MD, as it was originally developed for Restorsea. I've been a fan of Restorsea skincare products for years, but I can't always afford to use them regularly. That's why I was so interested in trying this product to see how it compares.This cleanser is a very light and watery clear liquid that foams and lathers well. I prefer to use mine in the shower. A little goes a long way, and it spreads across my face smoothly. I like to apply it and let it sit on my skin for a minute before starting to make little light circles with my fingertips. It doesn't just clean my skin, it also provides very light and gentle exfoliation that you can feel immediately. In fact, I can feel it in my fingertips, so I always make sure to rub them on the backs of my hands, too, before rinsing. This cleanser sort of 'resets' my skin, making it better able to absorb the active ingredients in whatever products I use after cleansing. That means more bang for my beauty buck...just another reason to love this stuff!I have been using this cleanser for a couple of months now, along with the moisturizing cream and revitalizing eye cream from the same line. I have enjoyed using all these products, but this one is definitely my favorite. I think it has been excellent for the health and appearance of my skin, and my face definitely feels softer and looks clearer. I am absolutely crazy about it.Unfortunately, however, I cannot find any information online or in the product packaging about whether or not Nava MD products have been tested on animals. I have done a fair bit of research, and have actually discovered a few similarly-named skincare companies, some of which are cruelty-free, but I can't find anything definitive about *this* brand. In my experience, when that's the case, it's usually because their products have been tested on immobilized and terrified cats and rabbits. Yuck. However, I did post the question on Amazon, and the brand itself replied to say that these products are, indeed, cruelty-free. That's great, but I really wish they would make that information more readily available, including clear labels on their products and product packaging. For now, I will take the seller at their word that this is a cruelty-free product. I am delighted to know that because this is a product I do not want to live without! I will definitely purchase this again (and again and again) when it runs out, and assuming the brand makes their cruelty-free status MUCH more easily known, I am more than happy to recommend this fabulous product! It's gentle and effective, and it's one of the best things I have ever put on my face.I hope that sharing my experience with this product might help YOU make a more informed purchase. As face washes go, the NAVA MD Daily Cleanser | Complexion Renewing Face Wash works as well as several others I've tried, and am using at the moment. I use approximately a dime size, emulsify and gently rub alnd lightly massage around my face and neck. My face feels squeaky clean after use and not overly dry. It's anice product but a bit expensive at it's current price of $29.00

The bottle is fairly small for the price. It smells good and is gentle. Half the bottle had leaked out when I got it in the mail.

You'll get a good cleaning with this facial cleanser. It's effective and gentle and is probably safe enough for those with sensitive skin.It's a clear gel that gets in and pulls out all of that gunk, makeup and excess sebum lodged inside of the pores. Does so without being too aggressive which that alone can cause problems. There is no scent that I could detect. Will provide you with some lather, but not a whole lot. Just enough to get the job completely done. Leaves skin feeling fully cleansed and the skin feeling soft to the touch. Doesn't do anything extra special, as in moisturizing the skin, but that's what your other skincare products are for.Good for all skin types and is just as good for men as it is for women. Good for all adult age groups and is probably best for those with oily to slightly dry skin.
