If the important details on face of the diploma/certificate/degree is 8.5x10" and the rest is as large at the frame, this would be simpler. I didn't see a lot of other well-rated options for 8.5x10" frames. In order to get an 8.5x10" to fit I placed the certificate/diploma/degree in between the frame with the gold rim and the glass. I then placed the backboard and had to really push back the metal binding piece to have the glass frame go on top of the whole thing. There's not a good way to do it the other way around your paper is going to fall out of place. But it looks good once you're done. I kept the placeholder paper flipped in the frame for extra support.

The frame is just perfect for our daughter. She worked so hard to complete her achievements we wanted to frame her diplomas to surprise her. They turned out exquisite!

It works for degrees

Had to replace my frame for my college diploma and this one is excellent. Very sturdy, quality looking wood, and great value for the money. Makes a great gift too!

Easy to mount the diploma and easy yo hang.

Used this frame for my son's high school diploma and the double mat colors matched the colors of his school which were represented on his diploma. Hung it in his room to surprise him when he came home. He loved it. When he moved to go to college he took it with him.
