Note: buy a roll of foil or heat resistant tape...I mention it later...Had the aluminum hose type vent prior...anytime I would move the dryer it would come loose. Ordered this as an alternative and to be able to push dryer back just enough to clear the garage door. If you can move your washer out of the way and you have room where the dryer vents to the wall, it will be super easy to install. I had a tight space all around so I had to crawl between the washer & back of dryer. I attached the vent to the dryer and wall, but the wall kept coming off...it comes with tension rings to tighten around the vents...I used the tape for the wall to keep it in place since the vent in the wall was slightly damaged from plumbers that worked on it previously. The tape just keeps the connection secure, not required but you may need it. It has been two weeks, and so far it is working great!

This is a great product to solve your dryer exhaust hook up dilemma but make no mistake that it requires some effort and ability to install this product to perform at it’s potential. Grandma can’t do this so as long as you know that going in, buy it

connections would not fit the exhaust for LG or GE dryers. Plumber was concerned the "fit" of the movable parts was not tight enough and could also leak out lint into condo.

Worked perfect for our situation in getting the dryer closer to the wall. Gained about 2" by using this device versus 4" piping.

My dryer vent was out of alignment with my dryer placement. This was the perfect solution. Very easy to install.

If you have a tight space for a dryer and need it to sit closer to the wall, this is the solution. NOTE - I had to go to Home Depot for dyer tape (tape slide on telescoping duct and flex short duct, also bought separately, to telescoping piece). Took about 15 minutes to install.
