One of the more better and affordable Laser Engravers
I am a proud owner of 3 of your products. The LP1, the LX1 and I just recently purchased the LP2 which I absolutely love the portability. The things I would suggest is a quick release from its stand for portability instead of having to reach behind the laser shield, and have to unthread a screw. Its a bit cumbersome if you have it up against a wall in the back too.. Nothing major just a thought. I do like the fact the LP1 auto ranges vs having to manually measure on the LP2 but that not a major flaw to me. Speed is definitely better from start to finish than both LP1 and LX1 (lots of set up for that). The app is definitely much better on the LP2.. I wish you would update the LP1 app to be a bit more extensive but thats why I went with the LP2 (though I love all three items). Im still working with LP2 more and may have more ideas but this one is solid for portability and the fact i have 3 of your lasers shows how much I appreciate your quality.. Keep it up.

So easy to use
I recently purchased the Laserpecker 2 with roller, this is my first time ever using a laser engraving machine, it couldn’t have been easier. So easy to use, no assembly required, and the app is so easy to use. I strongly recommend this to first time users.

Works Great - recommended!
Product works great!!! Would be nice if it had an auto-depth censor to ensure proper distance.Using the shield is a great start, but sometimes u don’t know if ur down too much, pinching the plank, or to high. Would take some of the guess work out.Also- a little confusion on the marketing in that trolly mode is on there without clearer description that you need the added part.Needs. Few passes on stainless but incredible clarity.

NO SUPPORT FOR MONTHS? Updated - gets worse, support horrible
I’m going to cut to the chase. The software is complete garbage. You want to make a simple change before you engrave? No problem - start over from the beginning. That’s not exaggeration. Want to line up material for engraving? Can’t use magnetic pieces to align repetitive engraves… want to engrave again after you did one? Maybe it will let you, maybe it won’t. It disconnects from Bluetooth often. The roller assembly is a joke. Items repetitively skip while rotating, making it impossible to engrave. The adjustable stand is finicky…The built in focus lever? Yeah it’s accurate about 50% of the time. Sorry but this just won’t do. It’s now a paper weight. And I’m out over $1000 counting accessories.Update 1/14/2025If you have issues, they will first offer you an insulting discount on a newer model, like $200 off their $4000 LP5. If that won’t fly, you will need to spend countless days and weeks attempting to get a reply about your concerns. When you eventually get a reply, you will be asked to spend countless hours working with their technicians to diagnose the issues even though you already know what the issues are in great detail. This will span several days as well, with spotty almost non existent responses once again. Negative stars Amazon? Please implement negative starsUpdate 2/8/2025Company has been out almost a month with Chinese New Year. No help, no support, I have been unable to use the expensive paperweight for months now. Avoid at all costs folksUpdate 3/1/2025NO ONE has reached back out to me regarding my issues. I waited for the Chinese new year to end, and still nothing. XTool, Glewphy, Wecreate, these are ALL better options with much better support and care about their customers

Great for a first laser
I almost didn't buy this, but a good friend of mine recommended that I give it a try. He had an LP2 and upgraded to an LP4. I bought this about 3 weeks ago and have been using it daily, without much issue. This laser has cut/etched everything that I've tried it with: glass, different types of hardwood, pine, leather, plastic, stainless steel, etc. You have to be patient and willing to try different settings of power, depth, and resolution; those three combined make the speed at which it processes. It seems that many had issues with glass. Here's what I found that works for me:100% power45% depth1k resolution, or higherAnd, the most important thing is a dull, flat black coating on the glass. I use automobile primer, etch the glass with the laser, then clean off the primer with mineral spirits. I've also tried it with acrylic paint, which works, and can be washed off with water, but I had difficulty getting a thin coat. The primer is much easier. Again, these have to be flat black, not glossy. Glossy makes it to hard to see the preview, as the laser reflects off of the coating. With regards to the software, yes, it's rudimentary at best! Personally, I use Inkscape (free, open-source) to make my designs, export them as PNG files, and bring them into LaserPecker Design Space as images, place them where I want in the preview, and let it run. It works quite well.If you're looking for something that's compatible with LightBurn, this isn't it. This laser only works with the proprietary software. That's it.The bluetooth will disconnect is you stray to far away from the machine, but the machine keeps right on moving along, but you lose the percentage complete info. Not a big deal, to me.My only issue is that, supposedly, you can do a long press on the buttons to raise and lower the laser head. This works for about about 5% of the time in the up direction, and 25% of the time, in the down direction. So, I try, and try, and try, and eventually just press one at a time, raising/lowering it 1 mm at a time. I've learned to be patient, so it lost a star for that business. It seems to work better when it's warmer in the room, but maybe I'm imagining that. :-)
