The Ensure I received wasn’t in the familiar round plastic bottle. The individual cartons look smaller but are the same fluid oz size and the product taste and quality are the same. The cartons take up less room in the fridge

I'm a truck driver going on 65 years old and as you can imagine eating on the road is never a good idea. I have (what I believe) is an eating disorder; I never seem to be satisfied very long when I eat something (always hungry). I think the biggest misunderstanding is what you get for the money 1 unit or 3 pack; ($26+) you will get 12 ensures a little over $2 per bottle not bad for a meal these days. I don't want to waste your time telling you all things I've tried over the years, but it's been YEARS with trial and error with no success. I do pack my food on the road, but you're still limited .I would pack all healthy foods as well but my activity was minimal, and I found myself hitting the fast foods once in a while, because my body wan't satisfied. Pushing 250 lbs I needed to do something, so what the heck one more stab at it. I did two things I tried the ensure high protein twice a day and a good tuna salad, or some healthy meal before 7 pm and for a snack 94% fat free popcorn (90 cal per bag) and a soft drink or water. I also started counting my calories on a great online program (free) called myfitnesspal https://www.myfitnesspal.com that program finds any food (I've eaten) and if you have a smart phone you can even scan the bar codes and input anything you eat, I can set goals and see my progress, it's great! Saying all of this; I've been on ensure going on my 5th week, I just weighed in at 230.8 lbs my goal is 175 lbs for now, the ensure is the ONLY product that I've used where I can wait 4 hours before my next meal or my next ensure; I do that sometimes being on the go. I also eat SOMETHING every 4 hrs like an apple or can of tuna. I do that so my body doesn't think I'm in starvation mode, and right now my energy is better my blood pressure is lower and I feeling better about myself. For the record my caloric intake is from 1350 -1500 and my body LOVES THIS PROGRAM, I also hated to drink water before and now I look forward to it.I truly hope this helps others, I hardly every right a review but this product deserves it.

I have difficulty eating a lot of times. I’m sick a lot and I’m anemic and need protein. I have tried a lot of flavors, but the butter pecan is by far the best tasting. The Ensure company always makes the products that are easy to open while some other brands don’t do this. When I am unable to eat I like to make sure that I have the butter pecan on hand.
