The day after their arrival I installed two units at opposite ends of my house. My home is 1650 square feet which is larger than the effective range of a single unit. Two or three times during the day I heard the sounds of mice moving towards the air vents at the front of the house. By 5:30pm I was no longer hearing the movements in the ceiling.That's when I let the dog in. She spends the day outside with the horses and comes in for the evenings. Within 5 minutes I noticed her odd behavior. She was restless and uneasy and did not want to eat her dinner. It took a while for it to dawn on me the likely cause was the new ultrasonic pest units. I unplugged the unit closest to the family room hoping she would not be sensitive to the single remaining unit. She would not settle down and couldn't get out of the house fast enough. I unplugged the second unit and coaxed her back inside. She was very reluctant but finally came in. She was back to normal within 10 minutes.I know these units are designed to emit frequencies beyond the range audible to dogs but they clearly had a negative effect on my golden retriever rendering them useless to me.There was evidence the units were working within two hours of being plugged in. I have no doubt they would have performed as described. Unfortunately the severity of their affect on my dog caused me to return them.

- I plugged all 4 of these pest repellers in a regular 2 car garage (approximately 18 x 20) as I has a small rodent problem.- These electronic repellers don't work. I have found mouse droppings severally in the garage after plugging them into the outlet.- Today was the day when I actually found a mouse, trapped in a plastic bag about 7 feet away from one of the repellers. It had been nibbling on some package materials and got caught in the plastic bag containing them and couldn't get out.- I also saw a spider gallantly walking through the garage and a group of ants were recreating the movie A Bugs Story in the garage.- I was forwarded a video on the tube by a friend showing a mouse nibbling on peanut butter right next to an ultrasonic electronic pest repeller and I now know that they don't work.- I have attached a picture showing how close the recent mouse droppings on the outside of the trunk of the car were to the unit itself.- I'm sending the package back.

I've had these plugged in for a little over a week now and they seem to working. I have a parrot and a dog and neither one of them are affected by these. I have them in each room downstairs and one in my bedroom. I used to hear mice at night, in the walls or in the bottom of the birds cage, eating his seeds. I haven't heard anything in the past couple days or seen a mouse (I used to see one every other night). I'm still finding mice droppings in some places and tiny ants have now infiltrated my kitchen (where I have one plugged in). I'm hopeful that after the full 2-3 weeks everything will be gone. I might buy a second pack to cover the rest of the rooms upstairs and the basement...maybe double up on the room where the bird cage is, I think that will finally get rid of the mice for good. All in all, I'm glad I made the purchase as I notice a difference and I think it's way better than using the stick traps or baits.EDIT:Well after multiple months still have mice, lot of mice, so product doesn't work at all. However, their customer service was excellent. They sent out new units (didn't even ask me to ship the original ones back) when I told them they weren't working. I would give the customer service 5 stars but the product itself 1 star. That being said, the apartment I was living in was in an old building and the landlord did nothing around the property to get rid of the mice. I wonder if he sealed the foundation and places around the property if these would have worked better.

I know I’m not going to get super quick results, but gradually it seems to have reduced the number of mice. Its been about two weeks now. It seems that this device emits ultrasonic sound waves that are so unbearable to mice because when I pluged it in, I had a mouse that was stuck in one my glue traps and it started squeaking really loud. I’ve rarely seen mice so far.

These seem to be working just fine for mice, but not anything else. Since having these I keep finding ear wigs in my house, and I found a black widow in it's web in the corner right next to where I have one of these plugged in downstairs in the basement. I see some people saying to have them in outlets at least 30 inches off the ground, but I only have 2 that far off the ground. The paper in the box says nothing about that either. It also says that walls and furniture are no issue, but clearly they are. My house is 900 square feet on the main level and 900 in the basement. I have all 4 plugged in, 2 on each level.Editing to deduct another star. After posting this review I received an email from the company stating that I should have contacted them before posting my review to trouble shoot the issue of still finding spiders in my house because I hadn't installed them properly. I found the tone of the email off putting. Istead of offering advice or help, they were just irritated by a another low star review. The directions literally state to plug them in and that as long as the lights are alternating green and red they are working. None of them were even behind furniture.

At first I didnt think it would work, but I was plesantly surprised. I originally ordered this product because of birds nesting in my chimney. Yearly chimney cleaning always found birds nests. I didnt want to harm the birds, but they needed to relocate somewhere else. A week after inserting one outside and one inside near the chimney, I havent found any new nests. I also herd "scraping" above my bathroom in the attic which had been happening for quite a while..called two diffrent "professional" pest control companies to look for the source which they claimed they couldnt find. So I plugged one of these in the bathroom under the attic and one in the adjoining bedroom..have herd no scratches since. So far, this product has done what the professionals couldn't ..and cost a LOT less!!!!!
