Games Workshop 99120101088" Stormraven Gunship Tabletop and Miniature Game, Black

Product arrived properly but the condition was lacking, the actual product box was crushed in one corner, however the shipping box was in perfect condition, leading me to believe the seller shipped this item damaged. luckily no contents inside were damaged but it was a close call to say the least.

When heard the news that the stormraven was available for Vanilla Marines I knew I was going to get one, and I am very glad I did. The model comes in a lot of parts but it's very intuitive how they go together and the results look great. I just started experimenting with magnetizing weapons and I found a very easy was to magnetize the hurricane bolters on youtube, which I am very glad I did. The reason for four stars is that the cockpit and turret windshield frames are separate pieces, two small pieces that have to be glued on and are very prone to breaking off, which was quite a pain. Other than that the model looks great and is a huge boost to my Ultramarine army.

I got the full ship every part all in the box it was really awesome and for such a good deal. I will be honest i was surprised to find most of it built. Normally i think this would be great since it was constructed pretty well but, I want to be able to paint the entire ship including the cock pit where the pilot sits with navigational computers but who ever built it already put in its clear plastic for the cock pit. As much as this bothers me that i don't know how to remove the clear plastic to do a detailed paint job i would buy several others for the price i paid.

This toy is not for the novice modeler, however if you have a little common sense you should do well. As with anything manufactured by Games Workshop it is very expensive for such a small model. I would recommend having disposable income before venturing into this hobby. Other than the price being WAY TOO expensive, this is a great toy.

This was a gift for my son, We were very pleased at how fast it arrived and in perfect condition. He has put it together and even my 3 yr old grandson likes it. He shows it to everyone that comes to the house, if he needs any more pieces I will be sure to check out games workshop first.

This is a fantastic model and didn't take my son too long to build. He now needs to paint it to go with his Grey Knight army. It is large once built and worth the money.
