Stonehaven Gnome Wizard Male Miniature - 28mm Table Top Wargame Figure

What a wonderful little mini! So full of detail despite his tiny size. Some folks say the base is too big but, the thing is with these pewter models is that you take a pair of jewelers plyers or a small pair of plyers and bend the tab into an "s" shape to squeeze into the slot better. I did this and it worked like a charm, didn't even need super glue to hold him in place. Highly recommend!

This is very cool figure. I needed a Wizard gnome, and this one fit well. Like others have pointed out, the slit in the stand is too large. Bending the bottom of the figure is not an option as others have pointed out, because the figure slot doesn't protrude all the way through the slit in the stand. I ended up super gluing it.

This little miniature is awesome. I’m not a great painter, but I may upload a picture when I’m done. Miniature is exactly as described. Love it!

After the death of my character I needed to get a new mini. I was having the hardest time finding one that fit and then found this which fits perfectly. It's good condition and got there sooner then I had expected. I am ready to get this painted and use this dude.

This gnome I had purchased as a gift. Granted, the measurements were accurately recorded and posted, I do believe, and collectors and gamers are likely aware of the very minuscule size, but I had NO IDEA that this item would be quite so very miniature! Was disappointing for me, but taught me that from now own I need to “do my homework” when gift-giving on things unfamiliar! (…like grabbing a ruler to check the size prior to ordering!).

Great model, not bent, base slot to big

Great details. A tad bit small, but it’s a gnome so It makes sense. For those who are saying the slot is too big to assemble the gnome on to the base, that’s how it’s supposed to be. You can bend the bottom so it slots in nicely. Then superglue it.

This is a good quality metal miniature of a gnome wizard. It’s detailed in its structure and accepted intricate painting. The thin strip on the bottom of the miniature, that slides into the sbase, isn’t what I would have wanted, so it was glued into the base for stability.Overall, the painting of the piece took about 8 hours by my friend and turned out great.

I got this mini on sale, so that definitely helped in making my decision to purchase.As nice as the detailing is on this mini, the included base for it is too large. The slot is about 40% larger than the mini's insert which makes it extremely difficult to glue/make stand up straight.It seems like an oversight by the manufacturer to not check this before packaging them out. The size differential was noticeable even before unpacking.At that I'll most likely retrofit the mini with a handmade base in this instance. They've done very well with that.Would rate higher, but kind of unhappy with the egregious oversight from the manufacturer.
