R188 USA Full All Ceramic ball bearings

Three stars because of the price and performance as compared to regular R188 bearings. First this is a good bearing, noisy and almost three+ times the price of Coogan R188 bearings. I made two identical Fidget Spinners from Brass bar stock. Machined identically, balanced and one fitted with this bearing and one with the Coogan R188 bearing (sold on Amazon 2ea for $8+). The fidget spinners were fitted in a vise, spun with air utilizing an optical tachometer and each timed from 1000 RPM's to Zero RPM's. 10 tests were performed with each, alternating between spinners. There was litle difference between the performance under these conditions between the Full All Ceramic Saber Tooth bearing and the inexpensive Coogan R188 bearing. One time the expensive bearing would spin a few seconds longer and another the Coogan bearing would do the same. Admittedly, this was not a scientific experiment but it did duplicate a reasonable comparison in normal use. It told me that I don't need to purchase the expensive bearing for home machined fidget spinners.

Better than expected. Arrived early. placed the bearing in a Hyperstone clone spinner and placed it in my KONG spinner and it works better than the steel versions of the bearings I used.

I got a "Phat Boy Nano" fidget spinner, out of the box, it spin about 30 secs without cleaned/deceased the bearing. I swapped out the bearing with this full ceramic bearing to give it a quick test, I got approximate 5 mins spin time, I did not cleaned/decreased this ceramic bearing either. Hopefully, it spin better after cleaning?BTW, this full ceramic bearing is super quiet.

Not terribly impressed with the quality...the inner track had chips on it which causes the buttons to be misaligned and now I can't get a smooth spin. I was hoping to have a decent product so I wouldn't have to worry about rust with the steel bearings but now I have a very expensive bearing with chipped edges. Not what I was looking forward to.

The full ceramic bearing looks like it absolutly would be amazing just becarful regardless of how pretty they are and completely check your bearing for any chips the one I received has a very small chip on the inner race you can hear it feel it and see it with a magnifier these bearings have to be extremely precise to operate correctly. Just a heads up to all who are interested in purchasing.ill be updating review once I return the defective bearing and get a new one hopfully I'll have better luck.

This bearing is above and beyond. Honestly have read so many reviews of full ceramic bearings being loud, don't know if it's true or not, but these are so quiet and smooth. It's great and I will be buying more for other spinners. If I could give more than five stars I would. I included a short 10 second video in case you wanted to see it in action.
