Cathie Allan Position It 2-Stamp Positioner, Gray,Black

I needed a way to keep my boxes straight as I stamped them but I have a handle on all of my stamps. I decided to order this one from this company because it was a good price and seemed like it would work. I did work. It came with the L brackets that have pegs and can be adjusted. The best thing is I can use it in a way the works for me. Not much is stationary. I was also able to layout my boxes on the board by using dry erase markers. I am not the best at writing these reviews however out of all the option the one or two this positioner is the best.

There were no instructions on how to use this complicated stamping platform. Fortunately, several online videos were available to help figure it out.It's big and bulky. The parts don't fit together well. I had to put some tape on the pegs to keep them from shifting. The WHOLE point of a stamping platform is to be able to stamp in the same place repeatedly so you get a good clear image. This thing has more moves than a bad blind date!The hinges also shift from side to side, making restamping less than perfect.It has some nice features. But the bulkiness, lack of stability, problem-solving, and the amount of storage space needed for this monstrosity, I regret not buying a Misty.

I really wanted to like this stamp positioner but it’s worthless. The hinges are constructed in such a way that the top piece wiggles and doesn’t land in the same exact spot each time. So then the stamp image is slightly off from the first one. It’s soooo frustrating. Don’t waste your money on this item.

Loved the price point. Easy to understand set up and directions printed on the back, so you can never loose the instructions. Doesn't have a magnetic base, so you have to use repositional tape such as masking or washi tape to hold paper stock in place. Has additional mounting guides for wooden stamp. Excellent for beginner to professional stampers.

Works grrat

This is sturdy tool but did not work as promised. The top clear platform kept shifting even with the clear pegs and rubber stoppers. This caused the images to not line up correctly when double stamping. The main point of the tool. Frustrated to say the least. The package it came in was opened and very dirty. If it wasn't for the clear coating protection on the plates, I would have thought it was in someone's dirty basement. I'm going to keep it but will probably invest in a better one. I don't like that you have to tape your paper down. It would be better if it were magnetic like the misty.

The top jiggles and is too loose to be effective as a repositionable stamp platform, which is the primary goal of a Stamp Platform. The bottom pegs were falling off and one was broken. I returned mine since it didn't work and was damaged. I bought a Misti through Amazon, and it works perfectly.
