A Healthy Snack Alternative To Junk food
Always one to implement healthy foods into my daily diet, I was needing to change up my monotonous rotation of delicacies and incorporated Smart for Life's Non-GMO Gourmet Bars (18 pack). What I expected from this product and what I got was an explosion of incredible flavors, as well as these highlights:- One quick look at this product's ingredients list will show a variety of healthy elements that have been thoroughly researched to have healthy benefits for your body and best of all, these are Gluten-Free!- The amount of flavor variety there is in every box surpasses the leading brands by a mile, with 6 unique flavors to choose from that are delicious in their own right to delight and satisfy your taste buds completely.- My only gripe about this product is the extremely inflated price that is attached to it; yes, the flavor profile of these protein bars is amazing but when doing the math, each bar averages an expensive $3.90.. yikes! With an unbeatable taste and an ingredients list that boasts a multitude of beneficial items, along with the advantage of building solid muscle, these are great! I deducted a star because of its astronomical price, making me question if these bars benefits equate to paying the company's set price that is up there.

Ok for gluten free. There are better options out there
Nice packaging. Packaged like a gourmet snack indeed. But when it comes to flavor, it is mediocre.Toasted almond texture is good but the almonds are falling of the bar. So it is a bit messy.Birthday cake - taste like you’re eating just frosting.Peanut butter - I’d say this is the best one out of the 6 flavors. It really does taste like peanut butter.S’mores - taste bland.Strawberry taste like fake strawberry.Double chocolate don’t taste like double chocolate. More like a hint of chocolate and not double.

So far, tasty and satisfying but way, whey too expensive
I’ve recently received this, opened the box and took the first bar, without looking to see what flavor it was. Turned out to be birthday cake. I’ve yet to try the other flavors so will update this review as I go through them. It’s smaller than I thought it would be. It has the typical glaze you would find on other bars such as one bars, meaning it will melt in the heat. Thankfully, this wasn’t melted since we’re getting into the cooler season. Taste? It’s good, very reminiscent of a birthday cake flavored Ine bar and a different bar whose brand I can’t remember right now. I didn’t detect an artificial sweetener taste. The texture is nice and soft, satisfyingly dense and with the right amount of chew. They got this flavor and bar right.Remember I said the bar was small? It is, but surprisingly satisfying and it turned out to be a perfect size to tide me over for 3 hours without feeling bloated. That price though. In my opinion, they are way too expensive. $20-25 less expensive I think would be a better price point.Again, I’ll update as I try other flavors but so far, if you can stomach the price, it’s a good bar.

It’s not worth $70 for this box. Never ever.
This box is not worth what they’re asking. But I won’t knock it down more than one star for that because everything else is great.By looking at the ingredients list you can see they try to add as healthy ingredients as they can. They use organic where they can and sustainable sources where they can. I’ll try to attach a photo.THE FLAVOR PROFILES, IN THE MIND OF AUSTIN:DOUBLE CHOCOLATE: this had a really nice chocolate flavor. That’s the first thing you taste then you comes a hint of protein bar.SMORES EXPLOSION: this one had a nice lucky charms marshmallow flavor.SALTED PEANUT BUTTER: this one was very peanuty almost like a payday.BIRTHDAY CAKE: I wasn’t a fan of this but my girlfriend liked it and said it tasted pretty spot on with frosting.STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: this one probably ties for my favorite. They nailed the strawberry dessert flavoring.TOASTED ALMOND CARAMEL: this one tied for my favorite too, because somehow, believe it or not, it has a Queen Anne Cordial Cherries flavor to it. And those are one of my favorite candies.

These are Delicious, if you can justify the price
Review for: 'Smart for Life' Gourmet BarsBoth my wife and I agree - these bars are delicious. They are billed as a Protein/Desert bar. They are a little low on Protein, around 13 grams, but they went overboard on the flavor. If you are the kind of person who is 'on the go' and stops at Starbucks a bakery, or something similar for a 'treat' while you're out and about, these would be perfect for you. For us, not so much...There are 18 bars to box, six different flavors - so 3 bars per flavor. About 190 to 210 calories per bar, depending on the flavor. At the current price of $69.99, each bar is $3.88

Delicious but sweet = Made with high end ingredients
The bars are excellent quality protein and delicious.taste.They're decent size and a filling snack of 12 grams protein (or 13g) each. There very rich and sweet, too sweet for me.All bars have 8 to 11 grams of sugars.> Between the sweetness and the price is why I dropped a star.and I do taste a hint of collagen .There's lots of wholesome nutrients in the long list of ingredientsof the six flavors.EG: whey crisps - bovine collagen - white chocolate - dark chocolate -sunflower lecithin - milk - vegetable juice - turmeric - bets carotene -paprika - tocopherols - apple cider vinegar - Vit C - vanilla - honey - etc - etc .GOOD protein snack for those who like sweets

These are good but expensive
These bars taste awesome. However I feel like they are overcharge for a fairly new demographic; having a wife who is sensitive to gluten I know if it's gluten free you can add a few bucks on it. My favorite flavor in this box is the birthday cake, which I would not have guessed, but all the flavors are good.
