It holds my iPad great! Easy to use.

This was the only Portrait mode bracket available at the time for an iPad Pro 12.9 that clamped top and bottom. I was taken back by the ~$40.00 price. This little bracket cost how much!!! When the bracket arrived, I was pleasantly surprised about the build quality.The top bracket expands telescopically, while the bottom bracket slides out. There's a lever in the back that tightens and secures the bracket.If you plan on using the Swiss Arca mount, measure the arca clamp as the tightening lever might interfere . If the arca clamp is about an inch or 2.5 cm, it shouldn't interfere with the tightening level. Other option is to use a tripod mount screw on the lower bracket.Once all was assembled, the iPad didn't feel like it was going to tip over. The arca clamp didn't slip or feel otherwise insecure. IMO, the arca set up is the better option. Using the tripod screw didn't feel very stable or secure.This is a must recommend if you plan on mounting your iPad Pro 12.9 to a tripod or stand.

This Mount will reach 12” but once it gets over 11” the Mount begins to flex under a load the locks work well and keep the sliders in place I probably wouldn’t use this on anything over 7-8 lbs. and 11” long. I bought this to use as a horizontal mount and I had a lot of trouble finding a clamp that could hold it in place most clamps only have a 1.5-3.5kg payload plus the weight of whatever extension bar you use. I had a very hard time trusting a mount to hold a $1500 device. If you plan to use this as a vertical mount I think you should be alright but it your using it for horizontal mounting or holding a high priced device I would spend the extra money and buy a more sturdy mount.

will give you long durability when used with a tripod.

The arca swiss compatibility is great, it held my iPad with Otter case rock steady. The only minor issue is when attaching a tripod clamp to the back, a tripod head with a wide clamp will not work as there is little room and the tightening thumb screws get in the way, with a tripod with a smaller head, this would not be a problem.

I bought the SUNWAYFOTO PC-03 holder for my portable monitor rig.The PC-03 holder is a well built, constructed out of machined aluminum and steel rods. It comes with nice satin finish.It fits portable screens, tablets, and phones up to 30 cm in height and offers a really good and secure grip. The 2 silicon pads do a good job of keeping the screen from sliding and at the same time also provide a soft Padding for the screen to seat in. I would have appreciated some padding at the back of the screen area.The screw at the top helps to tighten the holder and insures a really good "fine tuning" of the holder greep force. Be careful not to over tighten, it might break the device you are trying to greep and it is easy to do so with this holder.The only downside I found (I might be a bit picky) is that the extension rods inside the holder are touching each other and making a bit of a friction noise when opening and closing the holder. It is nothing that will interfere with the normal function and operation of it, but it is something for SUNWAYFOTO to pay more attention for in the production stage (in my humble opinion).I was also positively surprised to find a cloth sack that provide some protection while in transport.PROS:- Strong- Sturdy- Has a fine adjustment screw- Soft silicon pads (top and bottom only)- Compatible with Arca Swiss quick release system- 1/4 20 thread at the bottom- Comes with a caring sackCONS:- No padding for the back screen / tablet support- A bit squeaky when opened and closed

Pro tip, before installing, unscrew the adjustment screw 1/4 inch out. Lock the 2 levers with a good fit, and finish off with the adjustment screw. Well constructed. Good thinking. I loooove it.

OK, diese Halter mag "etwas" teurer sein als so manche ebenfalls für diesen Zweck beworbene Voll-Plaste-Knolle......aber er hält auch RICHTIG gut, und mit seinem weiten Einstellbereich paßt vom Handy bis zum iPad und so manchem kleinerem Laptop vieles dran.Klarer Kaufitp!

It would have been 5 stars but it fits not my tab S9 ultra 14inch when placed in length dimension. But good none the less
