I bought this cable for my hd800. I never believed in expensive cables as your paying for your headphones and dac/amp. My stock cable was damaged and I didn't want to spend 425 dollars for a black dragon cable or 230 for a stock cable. I saw that drop had a previous cable promotion with linsoul and I said why not try it. This cable sounds no different than my stock cable. I have my hd800 plugged into my Burson conductor amp/dac and listening to Michael Jackson Smooth Criminal in flac and it sounds great.

Good cable, light and pliable. I had trouble getting the left (blue) side to seat into the HD8XX. The XLR came misaligned and reversed. I had to unscrew the head and fix it, very bad QC Tripowin, more like Tripolose.

I recently received these WAY before they were expected to arrive. They were expected in another 3 weeks from now. Well done.I bought them to replace my Hifiman Sundara stock cable which was abysmal. the stock cable I was using was adding static in the background. These don't seem to add any audible distortion as far as I can tell. unwrapping them from their coiled up packaging they laid perfectly out flat. the braiding is beautiful and I see no visual flaws on the jacks nor the cable jacket.one thing, no left or right indications on the cable. not a big deal for me. that's easy to check, and I plan to leave these plugged in now that's sorted. consider my rating 4.5/5 for this small issue.I'll update if issues arise, but considering the build quality. I doubt that'll be necessary.

Do not get these for the HD800s. The plug will not fit the headphone's sockets - neither plug fit either socket. Upon closer inspection the two pins inside the header appear to be misaligned compared to the OEM headers.Congratulations, Tripowin, for making a cable. I only wish it worked.

I got this to replace the unwieldy stock cable on my Hifiman Sundaras and am very happy with it. It's surprisingly light and flexible and is miles better than the stock cable in use. I have the basic black 1.5m with 3.5mm single-ended.

Edit: More of a first impression than a review——I bought the 2 pin HD650 to XLR option for my HD600's. I first saw this item on Drop and decided to buy it on Amazon for the faster shipping. I purchased this cord to add a custom, quality, and relatively inexpensive substance to my HD600's and the Tripowin does exactly that. I wanted to review the product because I believe it is relatively new and hopefully I can provide some insight to buyers.For me, this cord replaced the stock cord that came with the HD600's (which is more than exceptional) because I just love these cans so much I wanted to add a little extra character to them. There isn't much to review on a cable for me because I don't expect a cable to change the sound quality. I believe custom cables are essentially just jewelry for your headphones.Right out of the packaging, this cable had zero tangle, jank, or kink and it feels excellent to the touch. The braid is super thick, smooth, and attractive from the Neutrik XLR (high quality connector-also used on World's Best Cables which are all you could ever need) all the way up to the two pin connections which are reinforced with heat shrink over top of the two pin terminations.I'm very happy with this purchase and I expect the Tripowin quality to last me another 6+ years of enjoyment from my HD600's.——Edit: The cable adds a noticeable weight to the cans that you can feel on your head vs the stock cable. Just an observation not necessarily a negative. I will continue to update as I use the cable.

Buy it if you want a beautiful, well made cable. It lays flat and has a great feel to it. I love this cable.

Sin duda que el cable es de buena calidad y tiene un buen desempeño con mis Hifiman Edition XS. Comparado con el original, el sonido no hace diferencia en realidad, es más bien su consistencia más suave y fácil de manipular. En sí, creo que es buen cable, pero no se si justifica su precio, me parece algo elevado, quizá tendría que comparar con otros cables para decidir si lo vale o no.
