Have wanted one of these years.Got it recently and we are very pleased.

I am very happy with this ceramic cat! He is beautiful and hand painted. It came very well packaged and protected. I had read the reviews before I ordered and noticed some others mentioned how the cat didn't wave or move is arm and if it did, it stopped after a short time.One review also mentioned that she looked in the battery compartment and jiggled the battery to one side and poof, it worked. I had the same experience, the cat did not function when I inserted the battery so I looked in the battery area and with a butter knife jiggled the metal piece where the battery goes and gently pushed it to the right side and it worked. However, when I picked up the cat to show it to my friends it happened again, so the trick is to not move the cat around too much because the metal piece around where you place the battery seems to slide a little to the wrong side ever so slightly, then it stops working.Now I just don't move the cat around and when I need to dust the table, I just drag the cat or slide the cat to the other side of the table and dust that area then slide the cat back.The colors are beautiful and it is not a small cat, its about 7 inches tall, very noticeable to the eye. I received it in the mail on March 14 and it is now April 18 and the cat is still waving away. That's pretty good and it is still going strong. I will update this review when the battery finally dies to let you know how long the battery lasts. I really like this cat, he is very jolly and whenever I look at him, he is a constant reminder for me to smile and be happy. :)Hello, today is 4/23/2016 , I am updating the this review. A month and 9 days is how long the battery lasted for this cute cat. Not bad, uh? This battery was new but in a draw for a couple of months before I used it so perhaps if the battery is fresh, (newly bought) it may last a bit longer.

I ordered two of these. One for a gift and one for myself. After receiving them one worked and the other one didn’t. I contacted the seller M.V. Trading and got a instant response. They are very easy to deal with and just a few days later received a new cat at no charge. It works perfectly. I am very satisfied with everything about the cats and the service! They are super adorable.

Always wanted one since I have seen it in this sushi restaurant which has a similar, if not exactly the same one. Ceramic, hand painted, has been great to look at every time I come home; brings a smile to my face and anyone that enjoys excellent Feng Shui!Little installation note, no battery cover (no big deal, you don't need it anyways), and the magnet that creates the hand rocking motion needed to be put in place in the cat I got. No big deal either. Magnet is embedded at the bottom of a rectangular plastic piece with two holes, with some needle nose pliers you can correctly place it where it goes, then push it on all the way with your hand. A second pair of hands and flashlight helps, took us about 2 minutes to get it going, and has happily been waving at us from across the room for almost a month!

I had to order this item twice because the first one arrived broken. No surprise because seller didn't have any packing in their box. Amazon.com packed the outside perfectly. My other delicate item that came in same box was not broken. Amazon.com was kind enough to resend a new one w/one day shipping at no cost to me. The "Lucky Cat" was defective, no bottom closure and the inside was not intact. Since I liked it so much I didn't want to take a chance and order another one with some other issue. I decided to keep the item and glue the part that holds the battery to control the arm together myself (oh the arm doesn't work either). To my surprise I contacted the seller and asked if they could just mail me the bottom to close up battery area and they said they come with no bottom! Okay...
