A Very Good Book About Audrey Hepburn!
I enjoyed the many new details about Audrey Hepburn"s early life, the great pictures and the way the author captured Aubrey"s true spirit! The only disappointment I had in reading this book was the author"s constant detailed descriptions of the movies that Audrey was in. I found this boring and unnecessary. I feel the author used unnecessary space in the book that could have been used for either more pictures our personal facts about Audrey.I would recommend anyone that wants to know more about Audrey Hepburn to read this book. You will enjoy the authors keen insights to Audrey personal and professional life, do some reminiscing , enjoy some lovely photos and enjoy the many tributes to this beautiful and talented actress!RHONDA

It's a great book! As a long time fan of Audrey ...
After a serious reading drought I finished this book finally. It's a great book! As a long time fan of Audrey Hepburn I have read many biographies on her, this one is in the top 5. I liked how it went through her childhood in Holland, horrors and all. Her life was seriously changed because of the Nazi occupation and it shaped the rest of her life. I also liked that it focused on her desire to be a mother and the difficulties she had getting and staying pregnant. The pictures are wonderful. I'm going to buy a hard copy so I can see the pictures in color. A must read for any serious Audrey fan!

Audrey Hepburn
I have ALWAYS enjoyed watching any movies produced with Audrey Hepburn. What a beautiful person heart and soul and so interesting to watch. And my second favorite move as always been "Breakfast at Tiffany" and the work involved to make this a reality was very intense and not at all an easy task.

A. Hepburn fixes scripts
The author trusts the reader’s knowledge of A.H.’s character to bypass research into her writings and deep conversations with her friends. Her relationships with men come to an end as easily as pressing a button. Yet, one’s love for her makes one read along the fast text.

Learned new material
I did not know anything about Hepburn's life. I I was surprised that she was born in Holland and lived there during WWII. I also learned about her two marriages and her two sons, one from each.

Delightful
I always found Audrey Hepburn a delightful actress. I enjoyed reading about her and her life. I especially enjoyed all the pictures, many of which I had never seen. Her life during World War II, I read a little about but the book goes into more depth.

I love her even more now!
Written by someone who obviously adored Audrey. Yet it comes across as completely honest and sincere. The back stories are always so interesting!I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has seen any of her movies. She will always be "My Fair Lady"!!

What Can Be Said About Audrey Hepburn That Hasn't Been Said Already?
Two of my favorite all time movies are Audrey Hepburn's, Breakfast at Tiffany's and Roman Holiday. I try to catch either movie whenever I can.

Rubbish, all film synopsis
If I could give no stars I would have done so. I adore Audrey Hepburn and was looking foreword to reading about her incredible life. This book should be titled Audrey Hepburn movie synopsis. Tedious in the extreme, awful. Do not even consider buying it.

What an admirable person!
I thought I had ordered this book by mistake and was going to dump it when a request for review turned up in my email - and I thought I would at least have a look at it. Apart from My Fair Lady I had seen NONE of Audrey Hepburn's work although she was born just a year after I was. In fact I almost declined to see My Fair Lady as I had seen the original stage production in London with Julie Andrews - and I thought nothing could top that and why the hell didn't they have Julie in the movie??? Well, the biography blew my mind - from her origins to her gutsy experiences as a child in Holland during the War to her determination and hard work to become a ballerina and finally finding her metier on the stage and screen. As a result I have ordered several DVDs of her better movies as reviewed. (I am not a streamer at my age).I guess during my younger days I was too busy and away to see the kind of movies she made? It's never too late to correct errors.
