This is a Fabulous TV with a Brilliant Gorgeous Picture and Excellent sound!
This is our second Sony 65 inch Smart TV with Dolby. First of all, as usual Amazon does not disappoint with free delivery and set up which required carrying up steep flight of stairs in our California beach house. The crew could not have been nicer and actually moved a heavy coffee table to set the TV on. They carefully unwrapped the TV and put the packing back in so we could use to move another TV from our Reno condo to Cali. The TV has brilliant colors, easily connected to the WIFI and the color quality is unsurpassed. We are very happy with the 65 inch size. We contemplated a larger but this would have blocked our window and Ocean views. The remote is a good size with buttons for YouTube, Netflix, Disney and of course Prime. The sound quality is fantastic. We enjoyed our Christmas and holiday movies; Christmas Vacation, Charlie Brown, it's a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and the classics; It's a Wonderful Life. I highly recommend this beautiful set. You will not be disappointed!

Great picture and sound
With today's technology, I'm always very worried to order anything "smart". I am not very good at figuring out technology. As a matter of fact, it scares me lol. I just wanted a TV that has an excellent picture and excellent sound quality. I just use my TV to watch movies, stream shows and watch regular TV. I don't use it for video games or to broadcast from my computer to the TV screen. That said, I also needed a big enough TV screen to fit the large wall in our great room. I heard very good things about the Sony brand, so I took a chance and ordered this one. Several people commented that they wish it wasn't tied to Google, but honestly, I think Google makes technology pretty easy for us non-techies. Even though it's large, I don't think it weighs a ton. My son and I (I'm only 5'1" and weigh 135 lbs. and have no muscle) were able to easily lift it onto the TV mount we bought without really straining. Once on the wall, it was easy to turn it on and get it all set up for use. I was able to find all the streaming services I use as well as the live, local channels. I LOVE the "continue watching" area that shows up. It brings up what I was watching on my streaming services, so I don't have to find the streaming service, click on it and then go into the service to find my show. The picture quality is excellent and so is the sound. I have another name brand TV at our summer home and the sound is awful. I have to have it turned up so loud, just to hear it in a normal tone. I'm not one to be picky about bass, treble, balance, etc., but this Sony TV's sound must have that all figured out as it sounds really good. I've had it for about a month and a half now and I've only had one small issue with it. Not sure why, but the screen completely froze on me, and I couldn't use the remote for any function. I couldn't even turn the TV off with the remote. I unplugged the TV from the outlet, left it for a couple minutes, plugged it back in and it fixed the issue. I haven't had the problem since, so I'm just chalking it up to sometimes things like that happen with technology. If you're looking for a techie's opinion of this TV, you're not going to get it here. If you're like me, and are just interested in picture quality, sound and ease of use, I highly recommend this TV!

LOVE IT!
My 65” competitor puked out so I needed a new tv last minute. I went to a brick and mortar store and paid over $3000 + install. They made me angry so I cancelled the order and went looking online. It took me a while but landed with Sony because it’s a great product. This was a lot less expensive and I paid for white glove delivery. Took down the 65 w/ a friend and hung this 75 with complete ease. Now, for functionality… it automatically turns on and connects to my PS as soon as I turn on the controller. The main google screen is big and the tabs below are easy to navigate. I have a sound bar so the volume is down, but when I turn up the tv volume it’s amazing combined with the sound bar. Switches fast between apps and devices. I’m still setting things up as they come up but this tv is great. Thankful I found a Sony and didn’t keep the other. Great buy.

Perfect!
What can I say? It’s a SONY, right? Each new generation of SONYS that we acquire in life’s journeys is a progressive step forward, from the advent of the Trinitron tube to the flat screen wonder of the WEGA, we’ve always appreciated the dramatic steps forward. This flat screen is so dramatically advanced, it’s scary. Now if there were only something decent to view on. The setup was streamlined, especially since we use YOUTUBE TV, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are flawless-no wires except for power. The internal sound is outstanding, but we use Klipsch Nines for our sound system and it’s more than gratifying. The family agrees that the most dramatic viewing of this is with the Radio Paradise app, which runs HD photos relevant to the songs playing. In this context, it is jaw-dropping, and integrated with the Klipsch sound system, offers endless hours of breathtaking music and visuals. The downside to high-definition TV, of course, is clearly seeing all detail, warts and all, you may view your favorite stars quite differently. For them, I’m sure this technology is indeed humbling. At 65 inches, we now eschew the smaller theater venues for better resolution and sound at home. I’m sure that should Hollywood and the rest of the universe actually produce something monumental, played on a HUGE scale or large venue, we’ll still probably go, but it’s a HUGE asset to relax at home. We did hit a few big box stores to look at competitive brands, but SAMSUNG is the only brand who comes close to SONY’s grip on visual quality-they get it. As a HUGE fan of cinema since childhood, it amazes me that just about anyone can afford a very satisfying home theater experience.
