Faber Castell Metallic Colored Ecopencils - 12 Break Resistant Coloring Pencils

Bought this as a gift for someone who likes to adult color. Pencils were quality made and the colors were bold. I got many thanks after gifting this.

These pencils are EXACTLY what I am looking for!! They are an affordable brand that is true to their color. The pigmentation is awesome, they sharpen without breaking, and the company is amazing! I was trying to return a different brand and accidentally selcted this product to return. They not only sent me a replacement but I didn't have to send the others back!! This was an accident and they have replaced the order even though it was MY fault! Thank you Faber Castell! I wanted everyone to know that these are EXCELLENT coloing pencils! The only downside to them is the fact that the color is NOT on the pencil. That is the only complaint that I have. Again, EXCELLLENT coloring pencils at a reasonable price!!

Faber-Castell products have always been favorites of mine. Now that my grandson joins me in creating “art” projects, I am purchasing more and more of their colored pencils and markers. Because we enjoy drawing and coloring varied themes of pictures, “Faber-Castell 12 Count Metallic Colored EcoPencils” were just what we needed to help round out our art box.You will find “Faber-Castell Metallic Colored EcoPencils” are another wonderful addition for your child’s – or your own – art supplies. Their hexagon-shape makes them easier than round pencils to hold. The leads are not brittle and do not break off easily. Used on dark papers, the metallic colors “pop”. Used over similar colored, but non-metallic pencils, “Faber-Castell Metallic Colored EcoPencils” add dimension and highlighting.The twelve pencils are no longer labeled with space-themed names, nor are the actual colors identified. Included in the box of “Faber-Castell Metallic Colored EcoPencils” I received are silver, pewter, gold, and copper pencils; pencils in metallic versions of the colors lavender, lilac, purple, turquoise, blue, celery, green, and one odd color that I cannot specifically identify. There are no metallic versions of red or of pink pencils included – a definite negative. It is for this reason that I am rating the product as only a 4-star item. Had the set included metallic versions of red and pink pencils, it would have received five stars.

These are AWESOME Pencils, They work best on dark paper but work well on the Adult Coloring books like Secret Garden they do give a sheen to the art. I have to say Customer service is AWESOME! These are HIGH-QUALITY Pencils but I had a problem with 2 of them---FREAK problem. I think it slipped by quality control somehow. I sent just a message to them figuring they would make me pack them up and send them in and then wait forever to get replaced... NOPE not at all. I even offered to take pics of it and nope not needed without question they are sending a replacement. I had to pay nothing. I bought a cheap set and they are horrible and they are making me send them back and take pics in order to replace. NOPE, NOT THESE FOLKS. I will be buying ALL my colored pencils and pens through these folks just because of the great quality and great customer service. 5 Star, frankly 6 stars.

This is my first set of Faber-Castell Color Pencils. I chose to begin with the 12 Metallics set because of looking for new metallic media for Steampunk projects.Overall I was very pleased with my experience with the brand. These pencils have a very creamy and smooth texture to them. There is no scratching or dragging on the various papers I have used them on. In comparison they remind me of eyebrow pencils , this isn't to say that they rub off easily.Just in the way you don't need to bear down to apply color to your projectWhile I do give 5 stars to products that I really like and know that I'm going to buy more of; I try not to say that I love an item. However in this case I was very happy with the way my finished projects looked. The ability to blend these pencils so effortlessly , as well as combining them with watercolor pencils (dry), markers, gel pens. That I did actually find myself using the words I love these Faber-Castell pencils to my friends and family.I consider myself a colorist, it is my favorite hobby. Personally I have shied away from certain name brands that I knew we're used predominantly in art colleges etc... As I always thought of them as for the professional artists and that is how I viewed this brand. This set is marketed towards children and, why I started here also. After this experience I have plans to explore this brand further. If you are like me and are on the fence about trying a brand you see as for serious artists. Give these pencils a try.There is only one drawback and I really didn't think it was fair to remove a star because it really isn't a part of the product as much as it is with some of the reviews I read while contemplating my purchase. A couple of reviewers list detailed names for this pack of 12 pencils. I however, couldn't find any bases for this listing. It isn't part of the product page nor is it on the packaging or on the barrels of the pencils themselves. So this was a misleading detail that I had expected to be apart of the product.Final Conclusion: This is a very good metallic media. That enhances various projects . The results are more dramatic on a black background and subtle on a white background. I definitely recommend this product to others.* Note: These pencils are semi- hexagon shape and don't fit inside a round pencil sharpener. Some Faber- Castell sets come with a sharper. This set does not.

I was excited for my first Faber-Castell pencils! all the hype! I had read tons of reviews and compared these to reviews of other metallic pencils sets. I didn't want a lot just a handful of metallics, I was underwhelmed by the dismal range of colours. the set could have been just 6 as some of the colours are so similar. The disappointment is huge - update -changed my rating from a 2 star to a 5 star - these pencils lay down beautifully! I love them so much I bought the Faber Castell classic 48

It is metallic and provides shiny shades. The colours are pastel and not really bright.

Es la segunda caja que pido ,son geniales y para colorear divinos ,las minas blandas y con bastante tono metalizados.Los volveré a pedir en el momento que se me vuelvan a terminar .Loo aconsejo.
