Eggs-stra effort but cute
When I’m making myself a poached egg, I throw it in my little plastic microwave poacher. This is more involved - getting out a big pot, boiling water… But when I have guests, these are a super cute way to make a poached egg. They work. They’re adorable. Everyone is amused. I use some cooking spray before putting the egg in; it does slide out better and make for easier clean-up.

Requires LARGE pot and lid to use, too hot to pull out by hand, inconsistent cooking
The concept is SO COOL, but the execution needs work. The floaty requires a large pot, big enough to put a lid on and cover (defeating the point of it looking like a pool floaty). Then, it cooks unevenly as the bottom part of the egg gets rubbery and dry while the top part accumulates steam / water and is soft and wet. When finished, the palm tree 'handle' is too hot to grab by hand, so a pot holder or tongs are required. Finally, the bottom of the rubbery cooked egg sticks to the floaty, making it difficult to remove (and clean).Update: Customer service is top notch, but the product review is truthful and still stands. They definitely seem to care about their customers and their experiences, but it doesn't change a truthful review of the product and its shortcomings.Great concept and super fun-looking, but not designed for function at all.

Doesn't cook through the rubber
Literally blocks the heat in some way . Egg took like 20 minutes to cook and I had to flip it in there for it to cook on the other side ever ...no good.

Not worth the money
Although this is rather fun, mine keeps sinking and therefore I'm losing a lot of the egg in the water. Occasionally I've been successful and then I'm pleased by how the egg turns out, but honestly ...........I wouldn't recommend it, which is a shame because I thought they'd make great Christmas gifts.

Would NOT recommend
This doesn’t work. I’ve tried it in two different pots now and after 15 min it’s still not cooked. Would’ve been faster to pouch my egg with a spoon. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
