This is such a simple solution to the scratches that you can get from a bike rack. The quality and thickness are perfect. Best part is that it performed exactly as it should. Definitely a great value.

It is functional and good quality. It is non-slip and protects the car paint as described. The pads are bigger than I like, but it is better too big than too small. For my car (Honda Clarity), the pads are bit too thick to easily slide under the trunk hood edge (lower side) with the hooks. I had to put them in with the trunk ajar. Otherwise, it is good quality product.

It looks unnecessary, but it is works very well protecting the car.

It’s pretty straightforward … you have a bike rack and you’re worried about it scratching your car’s paint, right? So this seems like a great solution. In practice, though, I found the implementation to be problematic. Not that there’s anything wrong with the idea, it’s just fussy to use. Getting the pads installed so they stay put while you’re fussing with tightening the straps on your rack is a challenge. Plus, on my rack/car combo, one set of hooks (the ones that go out and hook to the side of the trunk) were too shallow and the gap between the trunk and car body too small to use.If you’re truly worried about your paint this will work, but be prepared to fuss around with the installation to get it right.

I have an old bike rack for my car, and the original padding that touches the car has worn out, so I used these and it protects my car and any unnecessary vibration.

When I bought the foldable bike rack, Amazon suggested this item as a protection and keep the straps in place. It works and I would use it again and again and again. Easy to use and has the right of thickness
