Great stop watch

I love it and hate it at the same time.
I really like the classical shape of this stopwatch. The shape and the layout remind me of old mechanical stopwatches that I liked so much. However, using it is a bit of a letdown. The buttons don't press down smoothly. It feels like there are some burrs inside them and they rub on the way down and up. Additionally, I don't like the sound that the buttons make when they click. This may sound silly, but this click is important, my mechanical stopwatch makes a sharp and definitive click, which says "go!". The click sound of these buttons reminds me of click sounds of cheap kids toys.Functionality wise, this stopwatch is good, it has a variety of modes, although all I need from it is the stopwatch with laps. Maybe it's too much to expect this stopwatch to feel like a mechanical one, but I was hoping it would, because it's styled like one. In the end it feels too tacky and cheap.

Build quality is average, plenty of features when using lap and count down/up functions.
This stopwatch (BizoeRade brand) has an okay build quality and being a metal construction, it does feel solid and has some weight to it. The glossy chrome finish on the stopwatch looks decent but it also makes it a look a bit dated and cheap. A brushed stainless steel finish would have been a better choice. The 3 main buttons are also made of metal are adorned with a rounded transparent blue resin on top, a interesting colour choice when nothing else on the stopwatch is blue. The buttons work well and have tactile bump when pressing. However, there is some play and wobble on the button stem. Operating the buttons is mostly smooth but overall feel is pretty average. The display is readable in bright light, but difficult to read in low light. This is where a backlight would have come in handy. The stopwatch has many features, but I could really make ado without have a time, calendar and alarm function. The stopwatch function offers standard abilities like split time and lap time and also ability to recall each lap time, slowest lap time, fastest lap time and average lap time. The count down and count up function also works well once you get used to the 3 button layout for making updates to the settings. There is also a metronom function, which like the date, time and alarm functions could have easily been omitted from this stopwatch.

Plenty of Functions Though Not as Easy to Read
This stopwatch comes with a lanyard/cord that can be detached or used to hang around your neck. You’ll probably want to read the instructions because there are a lot of functions and you'll need it as a guide, at least at first. The build quality is very good and is a mostly metal construction and the chrome finish is nice. The finish and screen do attract finger prints however. The three top buttons are nice to use and are responsive. There are 5 main functions of this stopwatch. There is the stopwatch, count down timer, a clock, an alarm and a metronome. Each function is robust, especially the stopwatch with the 100 lap memory, average, slowest and fastest lap. I also like the fact that you can turn off the beep and make it silent. The stopwatch is not very big measuring about 2 ¼ inches in diameter. The display is only 1.5 inches diagonally. There are 3 lines of data displayed, which is informative but at the same time it means the text/numbers are smaller as well. Note that the display is not backlit and that would have helped. The small size and weight (99 grams or 0.218 lbs) make it easy to hold and carry around with one hand.Another thing to keep in mind is that the battery replacement may not be easy. It uses a CR2032 battery, which is common enough, but the instructions suggest going to a watch store. Hopefully, the battery lasts a long time!Overall, this stopwatch is good quality, has plenty of functions and is robust, however, I did find the display small and not as easy to read.

I have tried a few of these timers and with each one the stupid thing beeps every hour. You set it for no beep and it does not beep when timer runs down, but it still beeps every hour. Needless to say those are history. This one you can easily set so it does not beep every hour. The controls are easy to use and understand. With it being made out of metal it is definitely solid. It does the standard time, stop watch, timer, lap counter, etc. The display is large and clearly shows the setting as in 9:43 time. Under that you see the time counting down. The push buttons are easy to push and work very well. Yet it will not have them activating at the slightest touch so there is less chance of accidentally cancelling the timer. It is lightweight and the cord it comes with works well and is actually comfortable enough to wear all day. I have found it is very useful for so many things. What I like about it the most is how easy it is to change the timing functions. That is because it is a well set up menu for the functions. If you are going to get a digital stopwatch, I say this is the one to get.
