How to Pray the Rosary as a Pathway to Contemplation

Excellent teaching of the rosary
This book was so well written that it was almost a page turner. Although I have been a Christian for 50 years I am always learning. This book was especially helpful in rekindling my interest in the rosary and in expanding my prayer life. I commend the Author on a very insightful and well written commentary.

ideal for a non-caltholic
I am not a catholic, but the rosary has fascinated me for a long time. Friends have given me a basic idea of what it is about, but not the actual steps of doing it.It helps you meditate on the glory of God and all that he has done for us

great book for any catholic
This is a great book for a new catholic or a gift for first communion and confirmation. The rosary and the mysteries are explained thoroughly and the pictures add a little extra something to the book.

Color Art would be helpful.....
That being said, this is a beautiful, beautiful book. The articles are thought-provoking, and the Scriptures and artwork are reverent, deep, and truly inspiring. This book fulfills the promise of its title, opening the gate to the Rose Garden of contemplation and union with God by use of the beads.

Ok read... Lacking...
The book is a bit helpful if you know nothing about the rosary, it talks about providing “art masterpieces to contemplate” and help you meditate while praying the rosary, a statement that feels like mockery... see for yourself... There is no introduction or brief explanation or history, mediation or prayer to accompany any set of mysteries, it simply provides verses and moves on to the next mystery... You can highlight a small New Testament for each mystery and read that instead... Serves the same purpose.

Great book
Good book. Lots of good information about the mysteries I only wish there had been somega back story about the rosary.

I am devoted
I bought several books on The Rosary and this one is what I was searching for. I use this book to say the Rosary as it transpires the prayers on EWTN which is at 12.30pm for the Catholic.
