great drive for the money
I have purchased half a dozen Silicon Power nvme drives in the last month or so from 256g to 512g 1tb and 2tb and I've found all of them to be fantastic values. They seem to be reliable, very fast, as much storage as I need, fast boot times, very acceptable performance and the cost per gig is a super value. My main systems have bigger drives because I use them more but my bench and test machines have this 256gb drive and its' a spectacular value. I have several with different OSs installed so if I need to I just swap the drive and go. I have a NAS so I don't need a ton of local storage, these are perfect.

Very handy upgrade
It was very easy to install and has so far worked with no issues. Speed is fine although I don't see a huge boost over thesata SSD I already have installed. Definitely faster than my external hard drive though. Only been around a week since installing so I'll update if I find any problems, but so far I'd say this is a great bargain drive. I'm making a point not to overfill/work the drive too....mileage can vary depending on usage so I'm going to try and get the most life out of it that I can.--editIt's been a while since I purchased the drive and I can say that it still is working in tip top shape on my Gigabyte board. This simple little upgrade has helped me store many more games to be played at faster speeds and I absolutely recommend the purchase. My only regret is not getting a bigger drive since they had larger options. Take care of it and it will take care of you.

Works great, good price
I added this to the 2nd SSD slot in my MSI laptop. It shows up as the D: drive with about 248gb of free space. Works great! It seems fast enough, but it's a bit slower than the factory C: drive when Norton Antivirus scans large files. I took away 1 star for that. I also have Silicon Power 2.5 in SATA 256gb SSD in my other laptop. This brand seems as good as any other budget SSD.
