The strap consists of a fully-adjustable loop with split click-lock fastener adjoining a single strip with a hook-loop stitched to the end. It doesn't look like any other uke-strap, but that's the beauty of its design. This is unique and designed for uke-players. TO FIT: Pass the strap over the top of the head OR unclip it and pass behind the neck, then clip it back together again at the cleverly-designed split click-lock fastener. Then hook the single webbing strip and loop to the sound-hole of the ukulele where it will now be supported in position. This doesn't hold the uke fully in place - it will still need to be supported by the right arm to prevent it tipping forwards but it takes the strain and definitely makes it easier to play. Alternatively, the strap can be fitted with the 'head loop' over the right shoulder instead and the single webbing strip then loops around the head of the uke over the strings.This method is less conventional but it holds it more rigid and it works. Having the strap definitely makes the uke easier and more comfortable to play - and the strap itself is soft and comfortable to wear. Made from a superior quality webbing (think of car seat belts) with an innovative split clip and hook, it is a very simple product idea but it's one which works extremely well. Add to this, there is full backup product support available from the designer. A good product and good support - which is relatively rarely seen today. Buy in complete confidence - and enjoy.
